"Great Holiday, May go back again!! :)"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Me my husband, and 2 daughters aged 10 and 14 arrived at christos aapartments and was shown to our room by the rep, and then the very nice cleaner was very nice and showed us what too do with the key, to put the electric on. All staff were very freindly, christos the owner, very nice and funny. The room very nice, two balconys in both rooms, and I reccomend mosquito spray or somthing because corfu is very green and attracts them so you get bitten a bit. The location was fantastic, beaches everywhere, beautiful views, lots of excursions. the only down side about corfu is the roads, they are very windy and up high, but the views from up high are also very nice. Food was nice, spiros who is the barman by the pool, also very freindly, looked after us very well. sidari is full of restaruants, for all ages, reccomend THE THREE LITTLE PIGS , and KONAKI, konaki is the more traditional greeek taverna. overall our holiday was very good, lovely hotel, good location, excellent weather, freindly staff and thinking of going back again.

"Fantastic place, Fantastic people."
Overall Hotel Rating:
What a fantastic place, we stayed in block A which is the newest and we didn't find a fault any where. Christos is a helpful, friendly totally nice bloke. Both Spiros's were totally great too. Anna the cleaner is so cheerful. I couldnt be cheeful that time of the morning and clean other peoples mess up. Thanks Anna. The location is spot on. Right by the beach (although no need for a beach with such a lovely pool if you prefer that), also within walking distance of the main street. Safe to walk at nights if your coming back late from the main street. Right next to bars and tavernas if you dont want the hustle and bustle of the main street. We didnt see a reception as such but all you have to do is go into the gift shop attached to the apartments and ask. Nothing is too much trouble. The food at the pool side bar was also brilliant. What can I say - we will go back again.

"Wonderful stay yet again "
Overall Hotel Rating:
Spent a wonderful week yet again at the Christos apartments, lovely room overlooking the canal d amour cliffs with all mod cods and the room is lovely and big. The blocks are in a great position affording wonderful views across to albania and they have a large grassed area where the main pool and childrens pools are with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas to while away those lovely sunny days.
The staff - Christos the owner his son Spiros, Big Spiros who runs the pool bar, Roulla, Maria and Laura who runs the evening bar were wonderfully friendly as usual and accomodating in every way.
Sidari itself remains friendly, inexpensive and wonderfully hospitable as well as being a great place for families with young children as well as disabled as the resort itself is really quite flat great if you are pushing a pram or wheelchair.
We have been visiting the resort for the past 8 years and each year it gets more difficult to leave our "second home"
Can't wait for 2010.

"Christos apartments"
Overall Hotel Rating:
great location for those without walking difficulties as its a long walk into sidari center. The apartment was spacious but the beds were very hard, found there were alot of ants in the kitchen cupboards, fridge very loud, bathroom mat mouldy and smelt, we stayed in the front building which has alot of noise from the bar down the road and also both sides of the road opposite left and in front and trafic noise not recommended for light sleepers, paid for air con and feel it was expensive considering it does not work through the day, the gentleman who works in the pool area was very helpful and polite. found the walk across the carpark to the pool a hazard as many cars, bikes and even a bus come in at great speed.

"fantastic again!!!!!!!!!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
What can I say, another fantastic holiday. Christos who owns these apts is a funny guy, his son Little spiros, well he'll just do anything for you, nothing is too much trouble. Big spiros round the pool bar.........well ive never met anyone like him,he is soooooooooo funny and again nothing is too much trouble. Then you have Roulla and Maria, both lovely women who work the kitchen cooking all the lovely brekkies etc. In the bar you have our lovely Laura, nice friendly face who ive come to know quite well now,it wont seem the same once she's had the baby and not there anymore. I just love this place and hate it everytime I have to leave, they've all become really good friends now and cant wait to get back, it just feels like im home whenever I pull into the car park. I have recommended these apts to a lot of people as I work in travel and everyone has loved it, there's so many repeat customers its un-believable but that just goes to show how great this place is

"first and last visit"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Hi we have just returned from a two week break at these apartments, we found the apartment in A,block to be very large, bed's are very hard so be prepared for a bad back, we had alot of noise from the surrounding bars at night until dawn and the youg greeks racing past on the busy road and sleeping was difficult so we would shut our glass doors resulting in a very hot room, when i asked for air-conditioning I found Christos to be very rude and he really did not want to turn it on even though i paid for it, 63 euros for 9 days,we found the air-con only worked whilst the bar area was open 5/6pm ish until it closed,so be warned it is a rip off, we also discoverd that Christos and his son Spiros(little spiros) were going into our room when we went out on an evening and turning the dial for the air-con down or off, the air-con only worked if the key fob was in the slot anyway.
The pool area is nice and tall Spiros is very helpful but be warned there is a public footpath right next to it and many tourists trot past taking pictures.
The fun quiz was a joke , the questions were hard and boring and unless you have a history degree you stand no chance it also does'nt help that the rep is drinking wine and becoming very drunk whilst reading the questions.
i was unfortunate enough to be admitted into hospital whist on holiday and i would like to advise people to take food and water with you in the event of a hospital admission as it is not given and 55 euros for you taxi back.

"Christos Apartments"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The apartments are in probably the best location in Sidari, it is right next to the canal damour which is breathtakingly beautiful. The owners couldnt do enough for you and are the most politest and pleasant people we have met. The bar shuts when the last person goes to bed and anything you want to know just ask them. Cleanliness was high especially around the pool, although that said we didnt use the pool much as I preferred the one next door right next to the beach. When we there the temperature was in the mid 30s and was scorchingly hot.
We will probably be going back some time, although not in the near future because as lovely as it was I want to see a lot more places first.

"Christos Apartments Nidri"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We’ve just returned from the Christos (July 2008). The location was great. Nidri is a nice quiet resort with plenty of places to eat and enough to do if you are the active type. The Christos Apts are a different matter. The lady that runs it is less than happy to have guests staying and is grumpy at the best of times. The pool area is very nice but there are nowhere near enough sunloungers, and half of those that are there broken, bordering on dangerous. I’m sure that most of the rooms are fine, however, the one we had (no. 3) was nothing better than a store cupboard. The ‘balcony’ is a joke, it’s nowhere near big enough and is right next to the stairs and people walk right past you if you try and sit out. We spent the whole week with the curtains closed so we could have some privacy whilst we ate and drank, sat on the bed!! There is a connecting door to room 4, all very well if you are with the people in there and don’t mind listening to EVERY word they say and hear them using the toilet. The fridge kept us awake at night as did the air conditioning. When it came to leaving we were promised a place for a shower as we had all day to wait to be picked up. This is where the grumpy owner really came into her own!! She was fine with the Swedish guests, but the English were treated like lepers and told to go next door or use the cold shower next to the pool. I would definitely go back to Nidri but I would NOT go back to the Christos if it was free!!! I would describe the Christos as a disgrace. If you do go and you get allocated room 3, refuse to take it and get something better. Be warned, the Christos (apart from the pool) is awful.

"Christos Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We arrived at the Christos Apartments and were immediately impressed with the location.
We had a ground floor room looking straight out on to the Canal D'Amour. The room was pleasant enough, very spacious but a little sparce in the kitchen area, not ideal for cooking. All of the apartments have air conditioning, however, this is, in my opinion expensive (42 Euro's per week)The food served at the Christos restaurant is very good and the prices are very reasonable. The usual waiter is big Spiros who is a very nice person and always has time for a chat. The bar prices are also reasonable, Laura and middle Spiros are usually on duty and once again they are very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. The prices are about seven euro's for a pint of lager and a rum and coke. The owner, Christos and his son, little Spiros, (yes, it's a bit confusing having three staff named Spiros!)are always around and will go out of their way to find time for a chat and to offer any advice you may need to ensure you have a good holiday.
The resort of Sidari is very relaxing and the people are friendly without being pushy. Most of the entertainment on offer consists of, quizzes, karaoke and a few singers. This is up until about midnight then the many disco bars kick in and you can if you want, party all through the night. There are lots of trips on offer in and around the resort and it pays to shop around for the best bargains. I would definately reccommend a trip to Bella Vista, this is about the highest place on the island and the views are spectacular. We also went horse riding, which cost us 10 Euro's each for two full hours and was very enjoyable. Remember to put on plenty of sun cream for this! You can also hire a small power boat on the beach front for about 45-50 euro's for two hours, which again, I would highly reccommend as you can go all along the coast, stopping off for a swim and it is a great way to top up the tan. All in all, the Christos Apartments are in an ideal location, and the resort does facilitate most tastes. The only critisism I would offer is that I am glad we did not have young children with us as there is not much on offer for the young one's.
We thouroughly enjoyed our holiday in Sidari and will be going back to these apartments again in the future. Finally, for anyone who enjoys a good, big meal in a relaxed and friendly environment I would reccommend a visit to Cactus Jacks, this is in the Canal D'Amour area. The food is great and the resident singer is excellent. There is no better way to eat then chill out!!

Overall Hotel Rating:
Hi all just come back from 2 weeks in sidari and the weather was great mid 30,s there are all the normal trips to do and can go to albania for the day for 12 euros that i thought was cheap. il start off with what i thought is the bad things that is the beach and water. the beach is not well looked after cig butts in etc and the water is not really clear as you would think you cant see the bottom when you walk out and the sea weed grrrr but it is really shallow for the kids.
now all the good things christos apts is great christos (the owner) and spiros 1 and 2 and the others all so helpfull, the rooms are basic but has a tv and the maid comes every day. we stayed in block b that i would is the best block out of a and b as you get better views and the best bit is the pool area the staff are 5star and the pool is really good and you are right by the beach and cove beaches 1 minute and you are on the beach.
sidari it self is good as its all compacted onto 2 roads the canal de amour area (where christos apts is)have good bars and restaurants (try churhills if you miss your english food) and the main strip is where all the main bars, clubs and restaurants are. cant remember the name but try the restaurant just before the arcade very nice. during the day all the bars play films that are just out or not even in the cinemas yet and the night life is wicked dont really kick off til 11pm and all the bars play various music so its a good blend for everyone and there also is the bars for familys etc. have fun

Overall Hotel Rating:
I went to Sidari hoping for a quiet and romantic holiday with my boyfriend and I couldnt have been more pleased.
The apartments were situated on the canal d'amour and we were in B block which in my opinion is the best block as if youre lucky youre apartment will face right over the actual canal d'amour and is a lovely view and very romantic. Spotlessly clean and the maid came every day, although didnt leave us clean towels or another roll of toilet paper so just incase be prepared to have a spare towel and the need for loo roll.
There are thousands of places to eat and nobody hassles you for a long time to come in although do expect to be asked. Try cactus Jacks for big portions and lovely food, the ribs were gorgeous!
Weather was boiling although we did have one day of rain. Was still nice though and lots of pubs were showing films for the children *cough* us aswel.Beach was lovely although just as you come from the bridge it can be quite smelly so go furthur down. sea is lovely and clear and can walk for miles before it even comes up to youre chest. There is also a lovely secluded beach if you come from the apartments and turn right but it is very small, we only discovered it at night and it was beautiful with gorgeous views from the clifftop over the sea! very romantic!
lovely place for coupla and families although isnt the place for clubbing thank goodness! please let it stay like this and I would definately return!

Overall Hotel Rating:
We arrived in the early hours of 17/6/06.After we slept a while we were greeted by Ron who runs the main bar,he made me a coffee on the house, which was nice of him.Big Spiros who works the poolbar/cafe is so funny, you must make sure you take the time to talk to him because he'll have you in stitches, nothing is too much trouble for him at all.Christos is a lovely guy,he will sit in the bar at night talking away.Little Spiros who is Christos's son, actually in my opinion runs the whole complex. He also makes sure he is in the main bar at night aswell as around the pool bar through the day time. They both make sure they get to know all their guests on a one to one basis and will quite happily chat away with you.If you like to be left alone they will also respect privacy.
My friends who came with us but stayed in different apts spent their whole 2 weeks with us,they got on so well with both Spiros's and Ron,well everyone really. We used to go out for meals around 9pm then head back to the apts around midnight and just have such a laugh with everyone,it was very peaceful in that area.Stefan who works somewhere else comes for a drink after he's finished his shift,he is also funny.
All in all i can definately recommend these apts for anyone (I work in a travel agents and have sent many customers here who have also loved it)What i did find was most of the guests are people who have been going here for years and years like my mate Bilk who i met.

"Christos Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Me and my boyf had quite good expectations of Sidari after what we have read, but we were very dissappointed. All we can say is that Sidari is a very smelly dirty little place and we would never ever go back.
The beach in Sidari is not much good either. We would have rather gone to Blackpool beach instead. This is simply beacuse there is a smelly little river which runs right through the beach which gets smelly stuff everywhere.
The good point about our holiday is the apartment we stayed in. The A Block in the Christos apartments is very good. Clean, spacious and ours had the Canal D'amour sigh on it!!! AS for Block B, i dont think those aprtments are fit for rats.
Two places we found were very nice places to eat was the chinese resaurant just off the main strip and the Roof Garden. A definate plus!!!
By the way the women who walk around with roses are extremly rude, a firm no will send them away.
Oh and if it rains, be very careful because the whole place will flood, as it did on our holiday for three days!!!

Overall Hotel Rating:
Arrived Monday 28th June for one week.
Accomodation great - cleaned daily.
Owner and staff brill, nothing any trouble for them.
Had a wonderful chill out week, going from room to sun beds, sunbeds to pool/sea, then to the bar. We intended to hire a car, but got so relaxed, couldn't be bothered :-)When you come out of the apartments turn right. The food is cheaper in the resturants down there than in the main area of Sidari. Went to a great Italian called piazza della pizza. Everything cooked freshly, great flavors. If George is still there say Mike and Tina sent you. You will have a lovely holiday!
