Just be sound with everyone and you will have a great time!

not much to do for older kids fine if you just want weather and on a budget you can take boat trips round island or take train to hersonissos not many shops in the town people very freindly supermarket well stocked bakers and buchers if you are self catering

stalis is a lovely place for families and couples,plenty bars and restaurants lovely beaches been stalis 5 times and hope to go back again next year

this is a small resort,but everything you need for quiet family holiday.beach lovely.bus service limited but good value.enough shops to browse around.what more do you need ?

Malia is fun and cheap. The alcohol deals are very very cheap and good. The are a variety of beaches. The main beach is quite good but ask around for the little cove beaches which are nearby but harder to find (that is if you want a more peaceful beautiful beach). Eating out is also cheap but the food is totally british... burgers, fish and chips and roast dinners are advitised EVERYWHERE. There is some culture to malia though. A few shops sell crete specialities and the is one shop owned by a little old lady who hand ebroiders beautiful table cloths (great gifts for family). Malia is definatly a place for young people.

Georgioupolis is paradise, what more can you say. The beaches are fantastic, the people are so friendly and the restaurants can't do enough for you.

stalis is a very nice resort for chilling,my wife & i really enjoyed our first experience of crete can get very very hot from 12-5pm,so take plenty sun cream/block. don't expect it to be cheap cheap,cause it ain't,£+€ are virtually same value,but saying that we enjoyed and going back next year.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

The resort is a lovely place and the perfect base to explore the surroundings on the north of Crete. There are more locals than tourists which we prefer. There are local buses that easily take you to knossos, Agios Nikolas and Rethymnon etc. There is an aquarium in walking distance too. There are plenty of supermarkets, souvenir etc shops and some lovely restaurants, bars, cafes and all very affordable. We wouldn't really have stayed any where else. It's quiet enough yet busy enough if you know what I mean!

Very enjoyable albeit like Greece throughout nothing is cheap. Walk further along the coast from the hotel to find bigger beaches

The only place where i liked to eat on the strip was "Heaven", other than that i went to the old town to eat as they cook lovely meals. San Gieorgio was fantastic! and they treat you so well! the food is amazing!!!

Best beach is in Stalis. If you get transport its only 5 mins up the road, it would be long to walk, but it is so clean, quiet and Andreas (nice english guy from london) works on part of the beach where it has orange and yellow sun loungers. His family own the restaurant opposite and the food is lovely! He will take your order on the beach and bring the food and drinks to you.

Loads of watersports on Malia beach and Stalis beach which is good fun!

Malia is a good place, we would gladly go back. There are lots of good bars, and a lovely beach. Plenty of good places for a full English easch morning/afternoon. It was really hot though!!!

Malia is a clubbing resort first and foremost where you go to get drunk and have a good time. People not going for these reasons should stay clear as this is what you will find. The beaches are nice and sea is lovely but is full of teenagers who are just trying to have a good time. Therefore if you are 16-21 then is amazing but other ages may which to consider elsewhere. The main strip is excellent and cheap with special reccomendations going to bannana bar as is wicked there.

Lovely place in a very nice area of Crete. easy to get around the island from Georgioupolis as the national bus service, which is brilliant, stops just outside the town. The beaches are lovely and the restaurants are cheap but extremely good.
