Stalis is a very friendly resort - just nice to have a relaxing two weeks on the beach - or easy enough to go sight seeing - Malia is a 20 min walk for the young at heart to go partying but Stalis is ideal for having a realxing meal and drink and meeting other like minded people.

Used the public transport twice and found this to be very good. Resort quite large with lots of bars, restaurants and lots of shopping if required.

Beautiful coastline, fanastic beaches - car recommended if you want to sightsee but the hotel offers everything you need especially if all inclusive.

Can't really comment on the resort itself as the Camari Gardens are too far out to utilise the resort facilities.

Rethymnon has plenty of options for eating out and alsa good choice of bars. would recommend resort to friend and family.

Take a boat rip to spinalonga, take a stroll around the harbour and look out for the marine life. Good bus links to aghios niklaus for more restaurants.

great town for shopping but very expensive because the pound is so poor against the euro that is why we chose all inc it was four pound a pint in town wich we thought was a bit steep

Fab nightlife! Would reccomend help bar, malibu and cloud 9! Eating out was also brilliant, especially the red lion, and sticky fingers..

For a quiet relaxing holiday then go to Elounda two Beaches plenty of small Cocktail Bars and Tavernas to choose from.

Seventh year speaks for itself. Lovely beaches, we use the bit at the Akti Bar during the day. Zak looks after you with sun loungers. 2 + umbrella is 4 euros. The Akti Bar supplies the the type of food and drink service you need during the day. It is open and spacious and Kostas and Claudia are very friendly and helpful without being annoying. Claudias' phrase is "everything is under control ". The resort is laid back with no louts or trouble of any sort. Helios,Golden Beach and a good Chinese restaurant are good for an evening meal. This year a new Restaurant, The Gold Lion Steak House, opened a few weeks ago. We tried it and it served absolutely fabulous food ranging from pizza 6 euros+, pastas 6 euros+, fish dishes were 7 euros up to 65 euros for a massive lobster, beautiful steaks 16 euros for a big fillet peppered steak and the size of the chunks of steak in the strogannoff, my favourite, at 15 euros was brilliant. A tip if you go for the strogannoff, miss out lunch. The meal comes with rice, baked potato, rice, salad and a mass of fillet beef. We went there 3 nights out of 6 and it is, in my opinion serving the best food in Stalis. It also helped that the beer was served in ice cold glasses. Pele, the Kojak lookalike waiter, and the other waiter (sorry I should have asked his name) were really friendly and helpful. Pele if you read this, this review is by "Scotland", as he kept calling us. After the evening meal we go to Mary's Place every night! It is quiet, right on the Beach Road where you let your dinner settle with a few drinks and watch the world go by. The owner, Peter, and his daughters Maria and Carla are really nice and do not rush you to buy anything. Peter also makes great cocktails! Roll on year 8!!!!!!!!!

Great position between the more party towns of Malia and Hersonnisis, if your not up for clubs everynight, then Stalis is ideal, your only a short Taxi from the clubs if you fancy a night clubbing.there are loads of top restaurants and bars, something for everyone.

The resort was fantastic. There are some great restaurants which are right on the beach so the view is great. The locals are so very friendly. You can walk into Malia if you want more Nightlife and Hersonnosiss is also great which you can walk to but its only 2euro on a lovely air conditioned bus.

Death trap roads with quad bikes and scooters racing up and down all day and night. Safety is obviously of no concern for riders or pedestrians. Very busy resort but not a lot to do or see. Definately an 18-30 resort

This is our 4th visit to Stalis. The resort is excellent for our needs. Plenty of restaurants. Plenty to do in the evening although there were only a few bars that were open after 1am.

We would definitely visit Stalis again

Stalis is a beatiful resort that we found perfect as our main reason for going to Crete was for Malia nightlife, but we didn't want to stay in the lively resort centre. Stalis is only a few minutes drive so makes a great base to stay if you want more peaceful days with crazy nightlife very close by. The nightlife in Stalis also has plenty to offer if you don't fancy Malia, and has so many choices of gorgeous restaurants with very reasonable prices. The food is excellent, and the majority of the restaurants are either right on the sea front or host great sea views anyway. The beach is really relaxing and spacious, but with plenty of water sports to keep you going! One of the best resorts I've ever been to!
