"Olga Apartments, August 2008."

Operator: Kosmar

The beach is lovely, the sand was coarse so did not blow everywhere, the cost of 2 beds, a table and a brolly was 5euros. That price seemed to be standard. The sea could be a bit rough at times. Aghia Marina is full of small restaurants, bars and shops. Vis...

Aghia Marina is full of small restaurants, bars and shops. Visit the old village (5 mins walk) for different places to eat. Only problem with Aghia Marina that you might encounter is that the pavements are quite rough, walking with a buggy would be manageable but in my opinion you might struggle with a wheelchair.

The resort of Aghia Marina is Idealy placed to explore the west end of the island it can be quiet or as busy as you want it to be.There are lots of choice from large hotels to appartments with lots of shops and tavernas and a good beach. The locals are very friendly. We went in May and my findings are based on that time as it could get more hectic later in the season.
