Lovely quiet resort with beautiful beaches . Some lovely cafes and bars along the front and some interesting little shops and supermarkets for goodies to take home. The people were very friendly and welcoming.

You enter the cottage into the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with full cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. An archway leads to the cosy living room with a cast iron log burner for early and late season holidays. The handcrafted iron and wooden staircase leads up to the master bedroom, which has a four poster queen sized bed allowing for romantic nights especially when combined with the private Jacuzzi bath. The en suite bathroom has a walk in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside, the garden is shared with the adjoining Lavender Cottage. There is a communal pool and the pretty gardens are enclosed to offer maximum privacy. Each cottage has its own barbecue. There are tables and chairs perfect for al fresco dining on the terrace and sun-loungers on the grass by the pool. The cottages have been designed beautifully with couples in mind. Due to the close proximity of the cottages, they are ideal for two couples holidaying together who still wish to have that element of privacy.

A once small and quiet fishing village that has become popular but still possesses its charm. The beach is fine sand and is sheltered in a small bay. The water is a very nice temperature and is shallow with a very easy gradient. There water is very still in he mornings and tends to get a little choppeir in the afternoon due to the breeze/wind increasing in the afternoon. There are sunbends to hire and open space for people who just like to lie on towels such as my wife and myself.

There are a handfull of local taverners serving local dishes (thes fish dishes are great) and also european menus. There is a small cafe who will make you cobs with any filling to take to the beach at very reasonable prices.

A few bars exist but nothing to temp to rowdy younger crowds. There tends to be a lot of french and eastern Europeans visit Almyrida and all nationalities get on fine.
