The San Lorenzo Residence is owned by the family who also own the Lorenzo hotel & San Lorenzo village. There is no pool here but you can use the pools at both the other places and also any other pool that is open to the public. Personally we used the pool at the marianna studios across the road. These apartments are set just off the main road in their own gardens. There is no pool or bar or focal point so if you want to relax on site just sit ouside in the garden or in balcony. The apartments were serviced daily. Ours was a ground floor one bed apartment plus a further pull out bed in the living room (more suited to kids than another pair of adults). There is a kitchenette and (small) bathroom. We had a 2 ring cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge 2 fans & a free safety deposit box. Apparantly next year they are having air con installed and also the pool will be finished and up & running. These are very clean and well equipped apartments. We would return to these apartments again and I would also recomend these apartments to anyone wanting a relaxing time
The island is suited for couples wanting a relaxing time. It is not suitable for families or the 18-30 disco loving brigade and this is in evidence throughout the resorts we visited. Lassi itself is a man made resort which runs parallel to a number of smal...

We have been going to Greece now for approximately 14 years and never in all that time, have we stayed in better self-catering accommodation. The attention to detail and the cleanliness around the entire grounds is second to none. It is a family run business with very friendly, polite and hard working staff. The rooms were very clean and on arrival we we’re met with water in the fridge, fresh fruit in a basket, savoury nibbles, sweets on the pillows, chocolate in the fridge, washing-up liquid, shampoo, shower gel, shower caps, and a sewing kit. Whether you use them or not a very nice touch, provided by the owner’s not the tour operator’s. Also in the rooms for use was travel plug, toaster, microwave, kettle, hair dryer, ceiling fan and oscillating fan. In the bar area food was available and a wide range of drinks, food up until about 8pm and the bar was open until 2am, but one night our eating plans fell apart and the staff were good enough and kind enough to make us something a little later that evening. The location of the San Lorenzo was at the top of a hill, we booked knowing this and when we arrived I was a little disappointed when someone had described it as a hill, but as the fortnight went on the hill got steeper, but that may have been down to the earthquake that we experienced while we were there, nothing to serious though, or the extra weight gained by some of the very good restaurants and Tavernier’s that were just a nice short walk away. The staff, at the San Lorenzo was just the icing on the cake for me, and just to mention a few, there was Adele the polite, friendly and informative Greek speaking English lady, Olympia, the very debonair again polite, friendly and informative Greek lady whom speaks 5 languages and then there’s Dorothy the crazy one, lots of fun, again polite, friendly, informative, I found can be a bit of a double act when with Olympia great fun to be around. I have never missed a place and the staff like this ever before. I really hope to return in the not to distant future.
The beach was a little further than expected or hoped away, but nothing to complain about, the San Lorenzo has a pool anyway so no problems, the beach is worth the walk down anyway because its was one of the best sandy beaches I ever been on not very wide b...

We have just returned from 2 weeks holiday at San Lorenzo in Lassi. This is the 2nd time in 3 years that we have been, this time taking our young daughter. I think the only thing that had changed was the bar staff and cleaning staff were even friendlier not that they weren't previously. The whole San Lorenzo complex is kept so clean. Your apartments are throughly cleaned everyday and your towels are changed daily and bedding was I think changed about 2/3 times during our stay. The pool is still lovely and clean and the babys pool is great. It isn't chlorinated and is emptyied each day and cleaned. And it is also cleaned out if they are any accidents! There is also a play area for children with a number of different toys. The food in the bar is reasonably basic snack food but is nice and well priced.
Another great holiday at San Lorenzo, we will be going back for a 3rd time.

The San Lorenzo Village is one of the best apartments we have been to in Greece. The rooms are well equipt with fridge, microwave, 2 cooking rings, hairdryer and CD player/alarm clock. When we arrived we had complimentary fruit, tea, coffee and water, which was a nice touch. It is spotlessly clean, with daily maid service/towel changes and bedding changes every few days. The pool area and grounds (including children's playground) are well maintained. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
We got married during our stay and were given a bottle of bubbly by the staff - again, a nice touch.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone! Lassi itself is a lovely resort for couples and families who enjoy eating out and quiet bars. We held our wedding reception in the Monte Nero, which was very nice. Another good family restaurant was Mystic Gusto. The beaches in Lassi are very good, with Long Beach offering a great range of water sports! The capital, Argostoli, is close by and offers more in the way of shops, nightclubs, cashpoints etc. It's about a 35 minute walk from Lassi, but a taxi is only 5 euros.
We've been to Greece many times, but could not believe how friendly the locals were here - everyone we met took the time to talk to us! We will definitely be going back!!!

We had a great time in Kefalonia!!!
The San Lorenzo Village is lovely. The views from the complex are really nice- looking over the sea. Our apartment was spacious and had really good facilities. The pool was really nice and never got over crowded. The pool bar did some nice food and was well priced although it sometimes took a while to be served and the food often took a while to be ready. The rooms do not have air con but they do have a ceiling fan. They are cleaned daily which was nice. There is a steep hill up to the apartments but its worth it. The complex was really attractive, with lovely grounds.
Lassi is basically a long road which eventually leads to Argostolli (the capital). There are lots of restaurants, bars and beach shops along Lassi. Our favourite restaurants were: Zorba's (on greek dancing night!!), The Golden Dragon and Sidaki's. Our favourite bar was Il Gibiano's, Panos the bar man was a right laugh! Beware of the very strong cocktails!!! We went to Argostoli a few nights which was a nice change. We got a taxi which was 5 euro but you can walk. There is a big square with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and night clubs. Lots of the locals go to Argostoli. Our favourite restaurant here was Mythos. ITS GORGEOUS!!! Also a little Indian restaurant off one of the side streets was lovely.
The beach in Lassi is very attractive. The sea is so clear. It does get busy though, we only spent one afternoon on the beach (we liked being by the pool so much!). We went on 1 day trip in the whole 2 weeks. It was the glass bottom boat trip. It was good and im glad i went but i think it was rather over priced for what you get.
Ok well that pretty much everything. We met loads of great people and would definatly recommend and go back to the San lorenzo Village!!
