The old village on the hill is well worth a visit, we stayed on the bus to get there as it is a long hike up a steep hill, but a pleasant walk down.

Very peaceful place with gorgeous views as it was situated up the hill at the top of the town. loads of bars and restaurants,all what i needed,my favorite was dolphin rock bar

great holidays!cant wait to go back next year! too many kids in august thought,maybe try september next time

The resort is lovely, with friendly locals and plenty of bars and restaurants. Not really suitable for young children after about 9.30 as in peak season it is the party capital of the island. Would definitely return to kardamena.

The resort by day is completly different to by night.

by day it is a loverly area to walk around and things to do . during the day it's a good idea to hire a buggy to get around the island and see KOS town. SEBASTIANOS is a good hire place SEB the owner is very willing to help and very friendly. this is a very expensive area to go out of a night time at least 5 euros per drink nothing cheaper really apart from local beers. by night we heard of alot of violence. there was many stories of people being beaten up and mugged, what was quite strange for me and my friend that stayed there is that there is no sign of police on the street? which is quite concerning. whilst out on a night out i had my phone stolen from the STATUS night club, after being told there is alot of organised crime in the area at night. so watch your pockets! munchies is a 24Hr take away that is by the hotel that is cheap and nice food.

Something for everyone. Old and young, teenages and families with kids. Would definitely return. Fantastic range of restautrants some cheap some expensive. Lots of british food if thats what you want but also lots of lovely greek food as well.

Quite dissappointing, wasn't particularly clean nor inviting and kind of resembled blackpool without the fair! Not at all interesting, restaurants were empty and shops sold the same old junk.

Spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants - over a 2 week stay you could eat at a different place eat lunch time and eavening - and still not have been to all!!

My time in kardamena was amazing! Theres no other way to describe it. My group and I booked with Club 18-30s and it was full on from the moment we got there. There was loads to do all day long - although we didnt do much during the day other than lay around the pool due to hangover's from the night before. We ate at some really nice restaurants - I would highly recomment Captains along the beach front! The bars was also great with many drink offers to keep you going all night long - Mario's and WOW bar are a must!! Even the clubs were a highlight of my holiday - you cannot, by far, beat Downtown - playing cheesy music all night long and has you bouncing off the walls. Met some amazing people on this holiday and some memories i will never forget!

a resort for everybody. we took our 6 year old grandson. although the nightlife is mainly party teenagers the atmosphere is good and you don't get disturbed. there's loads of sea front food places with good menus. get the boat trip to the volcano, about 25 miles away and go down into the crater, it's amazing. also walk up the steps to the monestery Kos town is a nice place but the airport in only small and jam packed. beaches are at each side of the harbour, the sand is coarse grit type

The town is clean and tidy and cheap!!! Me and my boyfriend loved it!!! The harbour has fab boats and look beautiful at night time, the people are very friendly and helpfull.

We had a one bedroom self catering apartment, the kids slept in the bedroom and we stayed on the sofa bed in the living/kitchen area. The sofa bed was very comfortable and plenty of space in the room for us not to have to put the bed away in the daytime. The rooms were spotless especially the bathroom which had a fantastic shower with plenty of hot water. In fact the whole complex was spotless I could not fault it!! ( well maybe having to pay for the aircon) but to be quite honest we did not pay extortionate amounts for the holiday anyway. There are some lovely beaches to see on the Island so car hire is a must. The boat trips were really cheap if you book then yourself at the harbour (20euros for the 3 island cruise which included lunch) a good fun day out. Water park was average, very clean but not worth the entry fee, the wave pool was crazy!!

Zia is a little village (one street) on the mountain in Kos. Very nice sights over the island and Turkey at the horizon. and of course amazing sunsets. But definetely too many shops, so that spoiled it for us. In the evenings very busy but in afternoons much calmer.

I've given Psalidi only average scores but that is a bit unfair. It's only a small place but it's greatest plus point is that it is within walking distance or Kos town, which is a great place. So if you want to stay at a quiet location but within easy reach of Kos then Psalidi fits the bill. Kos town is a 10 minute bike ride or 30 minute stroll away. Once the get to the main road to Kos there is a seperate cycle path so you don't have to worry about traffic.

Had a great balance of a beautiful beach with plenty of choice for eating out and bars for drinks in the evening!
