Very clean resort which still has its charm unlike the nearby town of Kardamena. Nice cafes nice bars. Beach is very clean and not too busy. Prices are reasonable considering the current situation. This is a great area to base yourself if you plan on touring the island. Worth jumping on the bus to Kos Town( 1.5euros) its a very nice little town.

I stayed in Kardamena for a month in 2012 and had the best time of my life! The night life is amazing and so are the people! As a lot of young English people go there i did expect it to be a little rough and to see a few fights, but its not rough at all, the people are all so nice and friendly! you can make friends anywhere you go there. The hotels are basic but thats what most young people going there to party would want. The drinks are cheap the clubs are cheap and the food is cheap! I would recommed it to families as there are more quiet places to stay in Kardamena. The beeches are great, There is a really nice bar/resaurant on the sea front called starlight it does great food and is in a nice part of the beech. There are alot of nice hotels with big pools that the public can use. I love Kardamena and am going back for 6months.

The resort of Tingaki is lovley very quite and flat. I have been before and i will go again. There is just enough to see and do and there are plenty of trips to go on. Hilghy recommended.

if you want to exeperience the Greek side of this Island, enjoy great food, and amazing weather Tingaki has it all. It is big enough to eat as a different place all day every day for a week, and the prices and service is worth 2 -3 x what you pay, so value is great. The beach is very close by, and has lots of seaweed, but still is child freindly with its gentle. shelving. I visited Kardemena for the day, and their couldn't be a bigger contrast if you tried, as that is suitable for heavy partying & drinking, where you can completly wind down and relax in Tingaki. I would love to visit this beautiful town again. Don't book excursions with the reps, as you can get so much cheaper via the many tour operators on the main strip.

Tingaki is a lovely peaceful resort and we really were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach in peace and quiet.

very very friendly resort. with lovely tavernas and restaurants. greek people are so friendly. the beaches are spotless. loads of sun beds 3 euro a day.

Tingaki is a lovely place up at the top side of the island, it is renowned for having the best beaches and not far from them, there are alway somewhere to drink if it gets too hot. The weather is always lovely from june to early october. There are numerous shops up and down the roads including restaurants, clothes, supermarkets, car rental, gift shops and tourist/exchange services. A bus service is available to kos town but a car may be rented to travel aswell.

Only visited Kardamena briefly, as we were staying an all inclusive hotel. Plenty of shops and bars. Nice sea front. Our kids had a great night in the bars and a night club one night.

the resort is very clean, beaches are beautiful and clean...very highly recomended for family, couples, a little quie for the party animals, however kardamena is approx 15 mins in a taxi and costs about £20 between 4 is cheap enough. The choice of food is excellent and staff at most places are very friendly. Average cost of a meal plus drinks for the evening for my family was £40 ish

There is no tide therefore the beach is not large but the sea is warm and gorgeous to swim in. The cost of food and drink in the area is fair and the food is to a high standrad- very greek. The nightlife is good in Kos Town, there is many places to go to. There are loads of things to see and do, day trips to various places. An amazing atrraction is the island of Nezaru and there is a semi dormant volcano that you are able to walk across the crater, it is stunning.

Tingaki is the perfect resort for people who like to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. There is a very long beach with lots of loungers & parasols, also to the left of the main beach is a naturist beach about 2 miles long. The sand is lovely and the sea was a good temperature for swimming, even in May. There are a good selection of tavernas and small shops, just a short walk on the edge of the resort is a large supermarket. It easy and cheap to get to Kos town using the local bus service.

this is a lovely place,so laid back and the friendliest place ever been.the bars and eating places are great value and Kos town is a must see.it's only a short bus ride away.we hired bikes which was great,very flat for cycling.

Brilliant and pretty town centre. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. Beaches are a bit disappointing - can be pebbly and difficult to get into the sea because you tend to sink into the sand. Plus point is that the sunbeds are free if you drink at the relevant beach bar.
