Iv jus got back from weeks holiday with 4 of my other girl friends....we stayed at Seva in Kardamena and made friends with the 11 lovely people in the review below haha...firstly our room was spacious, spotless and very basic but we wasnt expecting anything...

Paradise Beach is beautiful and is great for kids as the water is very shallow there. Also visited the volcano on Nissyros island which was fantastic! Paid 50 euro per person but it was well worth it as you get a nice boat trip out and spend the day explori...
Paradise Beach is beautiful and is great for kids as the water is very shallow there. Also visited the volcano on Nissyros island which was fantastic! Paid 50 euro per person but it was well worth it as you get a nice boat trip out and spend the day exploring the villages etc on Nissyros.
As for eating out in Kardemena, we would highly reccomeend Avli for traditional Greek food. Good prices and lovely fresh food.
Bars are pretty much the same and what you would expect. Prices vary though, some bars were pretty steep so shop around!
All in all I would definately recommend Kardemena and would go again now if I could!

Beautiful hotel set up the mountainside. Nice quiet stretch with just one other hotel a few yards down. Private beach - there was probably 20 people on it at any one time. Taxi into town 6euro or a 25 min walk if you fancy it! Ideal if you like your hotel ...
