"Artemis hotel apartments Kos, Lambi."
Overall Hotel Rating:
Stayed here in September 2008 and am returning in September 2009.
Wonderful hotel very quiet and peaceful, if you want karioki, bingo, quizzes etc, dont go here, because there are none of them. Just peace and quiet.
Whole complex is spotless, immaculate, the cleanest place we have ever stayed at in Greece.
Just a short walk from Kos Town and the harbour and lots to see as you walk along.
Try Quick Corner at the beach for free sunbeds as long as you purchase food and drink from Ali and his son, they do the best Greek omlette in Kos.

"Fantastic Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We stayed in the Artemis apartments in June of this year (2009) and we had what was probably our best holiday ever! I cannot praise this little gem of a complex too highly. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them, the facilities are far superior to the modest 3 star rating that Thomas Cook gives them, and the accomodation itself is spacious, clean and well equiped for a holiday apartment. The complex has a large infinity edge pool which was never too busy, a kids Mickey Mouse shaped pool, as well as an outdoor jacuzzi. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and unlike may other hotels and apartments we have stayed at, these were free. Indeed, the hotel even supplies free foam mattresses for the sunbeds as long as you purchase something from the pool bar. The complex is very well situated, being just an easy 10-15 min stroll from the harbour in Kos town. For those that cant face the walk there is a bus stop almost immediately outside. There are also about 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the complex. Lambi itself where the Artemis is located is rather quiet with just a handful of bars and restaurants, Kos town however is anything but. There are more bars and restaurants than you could visit in 6 months, let alone in a fortnight. We found Kos town to be a fantastic place, plenty to do, shops galore if thats your thing, and very picturesque to boot. One other point to mention which we found to be a huge plus, is the fact that the eastern side of the island where Kos town is located is almost "billiard table" flat. This has not been lost on the Greek authorities who have built an impressive cycle lane network and are expanding this all the time. As a result of this a high percentage of visitors to the island hire bicycles, which are readily available and cheap. Many of the cycle lanes run adjacent to the sea which makes for an incredibly scenic cycle ride. Even in Kos town there are cyclists everywhere and there is every provision for them. I could go on and on about this holiday, and the Artemis apartments, but as we intend booking again for next year I really dont want the world and his wife trying to get booked in also :-)

"Lovely City, Great Location"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Stayed here in August and was pleasently surprised. The Artemis is in a great location in Lambi about a 10 minute walk into Kos Town and is near to a number of tavernnas and bars. The Staff were excellent, all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Maid service was first class, with the room cleaned every day with clean towels etc. Only one negative point and that's the onsite supermarket which is rubbish but luckily there's a nice big one about two minutes walk down the road, whew!!! A few places to recommend and thats Old River just down near the beach and Kwotas just up from the harbour, the food was excellent and the owners gave you a real welcome. Other places to visit include Zia for it's excellent views although don't eat in the main drag go up the side street to the very top and eat in Tavernna Zia which is basically a patio with only a few tables but excellent home cooking. Make sure you visit Thermes and have a dip in the hot sea springs and also visit Pleasure beach or Magic beach for some crystal clear water and fine sands.

"Amazing holiday! BIG HOTEL"
Overall Hotel Rating:
I have been to these apartments twice and im only 17. First with my family, second with my boyfirend. I have enjoyed staying here both times. It is very clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms have air con, kitchenette with all the things you need. Towels are changed frequently along with bedding, and the rooms are cleaned regulaly. They even folded up my clothes lol! I would definalty go here again! Shops and restaurants are less then 1 minute walk to the first one, then the whole strret is full of restaurants, and shops. Then at the bottem in the harbour. Boat trips are available. and regular buses. The island is only 7 miles long! easy to go everywere! AWESOME new water park "lido" great for couples and familys. A boat over to turkey cost me like 6euros! And the boats trips are the best! including bbq's and the captain even dived under the sea for some cavier! There is a bar street for young drinkers! And if you explore theres another long street with other winding strret ways (away from traffic) with loads of shops! Shops that sell jewelery, bags, clothes, orniments! YOU NAME IT! theres also a maccies about for kids. The weather is lovely. The beaches are clean but rocky! (take jelly sandles) I cant complain about this holiday. HA js the foreign airport!(but u live) The harbor is gorg! I want to go again this year but im only young and better try something new!!! Anyway defo recomended!!!!!!!! GO HERE ITS BOSS and the people are nice :D x
P.S big spacious apartments and hotel, pet turtle :)

"Artemis Hotel Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have been to a number of Greek Islands over the years but this was our first time to Kos. We went at the end of June 2006 and we can both say we had the best holiday ever.
This was due to the Artemis Hotel Apartments where we stayed. It as the luxuries of a modern hotel with the convenience of spacious, very clean apartments. It is spotlessly clean throughout the hotel and swimming pool area. It is family run and Nikos (the Manager) is the nicest, friendliest, greek person you could meet. His sister Leah, looks after the reception and we can honestly say from when we first arrived we were met with a very warm and friendly smile which, continued throughout our fortnighly holiday. Then there is Olga who looks after the bar during the day and serves good quality food and Dimish who looks after the bar in the evening ..until late!!! nothing is too much trouble for either of them, in fact one night a couple from Bristol arrived at 2.00am in the morning and were very hungry, Dimish made them a Pizza, I thought that was a really nice thing for him to do. Just watch Dimish doing his magic on you!!! The cleaners always had a smile for you and they changed your towels every day, even on a Sunday! Linen was changed every couple of days and if you happened to leave any pots they would wash them for you.
At this hotel, you couldn't do anything but relax and enjoy your holiday. There is a large swimming pool, a childrens pool shaped as Mickey Mouse and a Jaccuzi. There is also a large Gym for you fitness fanatics and a Sauna (not needed in June)! You MUST go to the Barbecue evening it was excellent. On a number of days, about 20 people came from the Sophia Apartments, which was around the corner, and lazed by the swimming pool, they couldn't believe what a lovely, friendly hotel it was.
Kos Town is excellent, there is something for everyone, whether you want a nice relaxing holiday or go on one of the many boat trips, or take a trip round the island.
The best bars were Blues Brothers and Fashion Club, both near Dolphin roundabout. Being more mature, we did not like Bar Street but there was plenty of other nice bars especially around the Old Town.
The best restaurant is HAAN which,is owned by a Dutch couple. (Sunset is nothing compared to this). There Fillet Steak can truly be compared to a good quality restaurant in England but a fraction of the price. From the Artemis turn left, when you come to the first crossroads, there is a fish restaurant on the corner, with a fridge outside displaying there catch. Turn left here and half way down the street you turn right (this is the road of the one-way system)Haan is on the left hand side, quite a way up this street and just past the Burger Bar. From the front it doesn't look spectacular but go in the entrance to the terrace at the back, it is a beautiful romantic setting. Make sure you ask for the English Menu and I promise once you have eaten here you will definately go back, as we and many others did. For a brilliant Greek Restaurant go to Zara's Kitchen. You go to the same one-way street as the above but take the 2nd street on the left and it is just a few yards down on the right hand side. Tell him you don't want the menu but for him to choose your food. He will then ask what foods you like and prepare you a number of greek dishes, I promise you won't be disappointed. Mama's cooking is another very good greek restaurant, turn right at Dolphin Roundabout, it is a few yards down on the left hand side.
After a fantastic 2 weeks in Kos, would we go back? ... Definately ... To the Artemis Hotel Apartments? ... Definately. Follow our footsteps and I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed.
Sending Lots of Love and our Very Best Wishes to Nikos, Leah, Olga, Dimish and all the cleaning staff. THANK YOU for giving us a fantastic holiday with LOTS of Very Happy Memories.
