The Pelagos Apartments were spotless, the pool area was fabulous and the staff were brilliant. We had an upper floor apartment with a pool view which i would recommend. There were activities during the day and entertainment at night. We ate in the restaurant a few times which was good value at 12 euros each. Our studio was very spacious for 3 of us.The kitchen only had 2 rings, microwave and small fridge but we managed to make a snack for lunch and keep our drinks cold!We had no problems at all during our stay everything was perfect!

just returned from our two week holiday.the hotel and apartments were lovely, toiletries supplied, towels changed every day and bedding when you wanted it to be changed.very spacious rooms and basic self catering equipment, although i dont go on holiday to cook, breakfast 6 euros and dinner 12 euros for as much as you can eat buffet style.food was excellent, reception staff very helpfull and all staff pleasant and friendly nothing was any bother to them.bill had a good word for everyone. on the down side kos town was a40-50 minute walk so take good shoes. 15 minute walk to Lambi.bus runs every 30 minutes and cost 1 euro. there are not enough sunbeds for every one and towels are placed out from 7a.m onwards and on the last few days of our hols our towels were taken and placed further along so that others could get an umberella.(wouldn't have minded if it was for kids to shelter but it was 2 young adults who were only at the pool for a short time anyway.)the small shingle beach across the road wasn't up to much sunbeds and umberellas weather beaten. nicer beaches at Tingaki.mostly dutch and german holiday makers who didn't have much consideration for others as long as they were having a good time.hired bikes and managed to see some of the island luckily there was a breeze. went to turkey for the day not sure i would do it again, and hired a car to see the views from up in the hills well worth it. entertainment was a bit lacking at the hotel. some animation during the day mostly water polo at 4p.m tennis courts under used. didn't find it expensive to buy at the on site supermarket in fact some things were cheaper than the one along the road. on the whole we had a great holiday and would recommend it to everyone, there could be building in progress next year as present owners looking to expand the complex.

Having read previous reviews I was looking to a lovely clean complex and wasn't dissappointed. The complex was very clean and tidy everywhere.

There didn't seem to be many english guests, the majority seemed to be german.

The apartment (we were in a studio for 3) was lovely, 2 double beds and a settee. Lovely dressing table area, dining table and chairs and small kitchen area with fridge and small freezer, kettle, two ring hob etc. The only downside was that there wasn't a toaster!!

Bathroom was lovely with large bath, shower over, sink, w.c. Towels were changed daily and also towels available to take to the pool area.

Free airconditioning and safe in your room.

The pool area was very pleasant but not enough sunbeds at this time of year. Really annoying though that people put towels on sunbeds first thing in the morning and then didn't surface until midday or after. Due to not being able to get sunbeds we only stayed one morning by the pool.

What bit of entertainment we saw at the Pelagos was not as good as expected but this didn't really bother us as we went into Kos Town every night.

Can't comment on the food at the Pelagos as eat out in Kos Town each night.

If you need to get anything from the supermarket go to the one next door to the Pelagos as it was a lot cheaper and the couple who owned it were really helpful.

The beach is only a couple of minutes walk across the quiet road. Hardly anyone on the beach, probably due to it being quite pebbly in the sea but after about 4 feet of pebbles it was then sand. It's a shame that the beach wasn't ";raked"; once a week to get rid of the bits of litter etc, I'm sure more people would use it!! Don't be put off though the sea was like taking a warm bath and the breeze was beautiful.

Kos Town was about a 10 minute bus ride away and cost 1 euro each. Bus stop right outside the hotel, every half hour and was very reliable. Kos Town was just as I'd hoped. Loads of nice places to eat and really relaxed even though it was buzzing with people. Lovely harbour area and very pretty. Loads of boat trips to be had, we booked a sunshine cruise with our Thomsons rep which cost 44 euros per person only to find that the same cruise (with less people on board the boat) booked at the harbour would have cost us 55 euros for the three of us!!

Took a bus into Tingaki, the beach was lovely but very busy. If you want to take a bus to any of the neighbouring resorts you'll need to catch a bus from Kos Town but not on the harbour front. You need to walk into the main square and go the the bus terminus. The bus only cost 1.60 euro - so great value. Get a bus timetable from the information office at the terminus and there are buses to Kardemena, Kefalos, Paradise Beach, marmari etc.

We didn't see a cloud in the sky all week (wish we'd have gone for two) and was around 35C all week. Due to there being a breeze it felt really pleasant but had to be careful not to burn as when we got back into the complex there wasn't much of a breeze and it was hot!!!

All in all this was a great holiday at a lovely complex. We'll definately be back to Kos Town.

We returned from a 2 week stay at the Pelagos in Kos Town/Lambi. The apartments are fantastic, good sized, clean and with great views of Turkey. They have air-con, safe and beds are very comfortable. We were advised to e-mail before arrival to request an upper floor room which we did. Rooms not looking towards Turkey over the sea will overlook the pool area.

There is a good supermarket at Pelagos although next door is another larger shop. If it is fruit you want then make sure you visit the market in Kos Town, near the taxi rank. Exceptional value!

The pool is large enough although only 6ft at deepest point and no diving. Water polo was too small. Pool bar for lunches is very good, lots of sundeds and room around pool and away to the other end on grass.

Evening entertainment was good with variety and you are looked after brilliantly by Bill the barman and the other bar staff.

Kos Town takes around 40 mins to walk, costs E8 each way in a taxi or like we did hire bikes. We had one each for 12 days and it cost E28 total. Brilliant, secure and safe. Would take 10 mins each way. A bus picks up from outside the hotel also, every half hour, costing E2 per person. We also hired a 250cc quad bike one day. This cost E45 for 24 hours and was a brilliant way to get round the island. We travelled on it to Zia in the mountain (for the views), Kardamena and Mastahari as well as Tingaki. Tingaki is around 7 miles away from Pelagos or E14 in a taxi. The beach there is superb, much better than the very average beach opposite the hotel.

We were recommended several restaurants. The best of them were GRANADA on the main road through Lambi, ISTROS just further down and AVANTI and EL PASO (brilliant mexican) further on through Kos Town past the harbour.

All in all a brilliant location for all, ticking all the boxes. Brilliant weather, hotel, bars, places to eat and people. 10 out of 10 location! Try the Pelagos, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot recommend the Pelagos higly enough.
it is simply the best place I have ever stayed in on holiday and I would not hesitate to re book (and I am REALLY fussy about where I stay!)

ROOMS - We had a 1 bedroom apartment for ourselves and our 2 teenage daughters. It was pristine clean, very spacious and very well set out.
It was cleaned every day to a very high standard and had a nice view of the sea and Turkey beyond. One small quibble - we were in black 6 which backed onto the playground and some people let their very loud kids scream away on the playground at 7am....there shoud be a not before 9am rule for the sake of those near to the playground!
The big patio doors have mozzie screens so you can let the cool night air in without letting the beasties in too.
Small fridge, but we ate out anyway!

GROUNDS and POOL - Superb.Beautifully maintained and set out grounds - paths mopped every day by the cleaning team.Lovely trees and plants all around the grounds and pool.Heaps of sunbeds, comfy ones too!
Gorgeous pool, about 6 ft deep in middle. Also bubble pool and kiddie pool.

AMBIENCE - Again, brilliant.Lots of German,Swedish and Dutch people who were lovely. Our one problem was with a rude British bunch who dumped our tools from our sunbeds onto the floor while we were at the bar. Very chilled atmosphere.

STAFF - ";Bill"; the barman,Chucky and George on the entertainment team and Katerins in the reasturant are all lovely and make you feel like not only a guest but a friend.

FOOD OPTIONS - Very nice meals in reasturant if you don't feel like going out.Reasonable prices too and you can tot it up to a room bill to pay at the end of your stay. The house white is very good!!!

KOS TOWN - A really nice little suqare with a couple of god streets for shopping and eating.";OTTO E MEZZO"; and ";THE OLIVE"; are especially good.

KOS ISLAND - The water park is good and was almost empty.E17 for adults E12 for children under 12.
Do visit the mountain town of Zia....its gorgeous, and also the Island is much prettier down the far end beyond Kefalos and up into the mountains.
