The beach along the road (20mins walk) was fantastic long and sandy. The Hotel beach was a bit of a con as you had to pay for sun beds and wasn’t a fab beach. You could however see Turkey from it and it is worth a walk along it.

Kos Town was a nice little town (though a few gypsies begging etc) we got a boat to Bodrum for the day and went to the Turkey Market which was an experience in itself!

We also drove around Kos. Went to the Paradise Beach which was a lovely beach if you like beaches, there are also lots of water sports and there is even an inflatable water park there too. We then went to Kardemen for lunch. It was very quiet as all the larger louts were still sleeping! Then we went to the The Asklepion ruins (old hospital) that apparently are where the documents doctors have to sign when they become a doctor come from. It was hot but interesting! Kos is so small but I do recommend hiring a car for a couple of days and just tour it. My favourite place has to be Zia having your evening meal watching the most spectacular sunset! Not to be missed.

Did not do any of the First Choice Trips. But the airport that was something else! Awful! That is the only way I would describe it.

Any way we totally enjoyed our holiday in Kos. We probably wont go back as there are so many other islands to go to. But yes I would recommend it.

OverallVery Good Hotel

We arrived late after a delay on our flight. Had a buggy straight to our room which had only just been cleaned as the floors were wet (if we had been on time they wouldn’t of been ready). Nice rooms. But no storage! Just a giant wardrobe with 10 hangers...

One of the best resorts on the island. Plently to see and do. We went on a 3 island boat trip, visited Turkey for the day and did the Island tour. People are very friendly, the weather HOT and food excellent.

What makes the Alice Springs Hotel the best in Kos? George, Barbara, Rita and Illios that's who! This is a small family run hotel where George and his family cannot do enough for you. You are treated as long lost friends. Friday night is lamb night and ...

The Luca Blue isn't in Lambi and it is quite a walk (with little ones), yet it is a pleasant walk along the sea front. As we didn't go into Lambi itself I cannot comment on the resort. We hired a car for three days, beware if you haven't driven in Greece before, the pushbikes rule in the resorts. We went to the waterpark which has only recently opened, we booked tickets through the rep, but to be honest there is no need. It is amazing and well worth a visit, spotlessly clean and lifeguards everywhere. We drove into Kos town which is a must, but do get off the harbour and head into the back streets. Paradise beach is beautiful 6 euro for 2 loungers and a parasol, beware it is windy and take something to drink and eat if you are going all day, as there wasn't a shop at the end we were on. The Greek night in Fantasia (which we booked throught our rep) is a must, it is a long night though if you have young children. We were picked up at 6.45pm and stopped in Zia, take money with you as the choice of gifts here are more authentic and cheaper than the resports. The food at the Greek night is all traditional and stunning, photos are taken when you arrive if you want to purchase will cost you 5 euro each, we got back to our resort at around 12am. All in all we enjoyed the views driving around, it is a beautiful island moreso if you go off the main road.

A nice, quiet resort. For more entertainment, go into Kos town 2km away.

We stayed at the Luca Blue Lagoon for my brother's wedding and had high hopes for a five star relaxing holiday. However, we were allocated a room in a building termed the annex of the main hotel complex, which was at least 300 metres away from t...
