"Kos Town"
Overall Resort Rating:
Kos Town itself was expensive by the harbour but cheaper into the town a bit. Loads to see and do. Very clean and it felt really safe to walk about at night. Probably better for families and couples, but there are plenty of bars. the old town is great with small windy market streets.

Overall Resort Rating:
The beach at Lampi is very clean and safe and if you are prepared to walk towards the harbour you will even get free sun beds, there are a few resturants in the area and are resonably priced, Tarzan Bar,Efkalipty and the Old river are very good.

"Lambi"
Overall Resort Rating:
Lambi.....it's a bit of a hike from the Blue Lagoon in the heat. Lambi is quiet and not much to see along the main road opposite the beach. We went for a walk one night and only saw a petrol station and supermarket and a couple of hotels. As you get closer to Kos Town things do get more lively and there are a lot of bars and shops.

"Lambi has nothing to do!Kos Town lovely."
Overall Resort Rating:
Nothing to do in Lambi itself, but plenty in Kos Town. Some sightseeing - old castle etc, and also you can take a boat over to Bodrum, which we did and it was a good day out. Plenty of bars and restaurants in Kos Town too.

"Our Fab Holiday to Luca Blue Lagoon "
Overall Resort Rating:
The supermarket in the hotel was mega expensive.
The beach along the road (20mins walk) was fantastic long and sandy. The Hotel beach was a bit of a con as you had to pay for sun beds and wasn’t a fab beach. You could however see Turkey from it and it is worth a walk along it.
Kos Town was a nice little town (though a few gypsies begging etc) we got a boat to Bodrum for the day and went to the Turkey Market which was an experience in itself!
We also drove around Kos. Went to the Paradise Beach which was a lovely beach if you like beaches, there are also lots of water sports and there is even an inflatable water park there too. We then went to Kardemen for lunch. It was very quiet as all the larger louts were still sleeping! Then we went to the The Asklepion ruins (old hospital) that apparently are where the documents doctors have to sign when they become a doctor come from. It was hot but interesting! Kos is so small but I do recommend hiring a car for a couple of days and just tour it. My favourite place has to be Zia having your evening meal watching the most spectacular sunset! Not to be missed.
Did not do any of the First Choice Trips. But the airport that was something else! Awful! That is the only way I would describe it.
Any way we totally enjoyed our holiday in Kos. We probably wont go back as there are so many other islands to go to. But yes I would recommend it.

One of the best resorts on the island. Plently to see and do. We went on a 3 island boat trip, visited Turkey for the day and did the Island tour. People are very friendly, the weather HOT and food excellent.

"Kos Overall"
Overall Resort Rating:
The Luca Blue isn't in Lambi and it is quite a walk (with little ones), yet it is a pleasant walk along the sea front. As we didn't go into Lambi itself I cannot comment on the resort. We hired a car for three days, beware if you haven't driven in Greece before, the pushbikes rule in the resorts. We went to the waterpark which has only recently opened, we booked tickets through the rep, but to be honest there is no need. It is amazing and well worth a visit, spotlessly clean and lifeguards everywhere. We drove into Kos town which is a must, but do get off the harbour and head into the back streets. Paradise beach is beautiful 6 euro for 2 loungers and a parasol, beware it is windy and take something to drink and eat if you are going all day, as there wasn't a shop at the end we were on. The Greek night in Fantasia (which we booked throught our rep) is a must, it is a long night though if you have young children. We were picked up at 6.45pm and stopped in Zia, take money with you as the choice of gifts here are more authentic and cheaper than the resports. The food at the Greek night is all traditional and stunning, photos are taken when you arrive if you want to purchase will cost you 5 euro each, we got back to our resort at around 12am. All in all we enjoyed the views driving around, it is a beautiful island moreso if you go off the main road.

"lambi-a lovely place"
Overall Resort Rating:
although we stayed in lambi, it was close enough to walk or bike to kos town which was lovely and much more lively at night than lambi. the price of food and drink was cheaper in lambi than in Kos town but i think that this was because it was a quieter resort. at night time the best things to do in lambi are to go to restaurants as the actual nightlife is quite restricted but it is very nice to have the quiet after a few days in the louder areas. we found the town to be lovely, the beaches were very nice and not nearly as cramped as the kos beaches. there is plenty to see and do as you can go go-karting nearby, also if you hire bikes you can keep going to different areas to look round. we went on a greek night which was brilliant, well worth the money, its up in the mountains and takes around 45 mins to get there by coach but it really was a great experience. overall i cannot fault this holiday, me and my partner really enjoyed it!
