"Agean view hotel ,psalidi kos sept 2008"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The apartments are kept very clean with cleaners cleaning rooms every day leaving clean towels staff very friendly & helpfull. Having holidayed in a lot of the greek islands we felt the biggest let down at aegean view was the food as there was not a lot of choice & quality not up to the usual standard we have had in the past from our greek holidays. Buses run every hour in to kos town costing 1 euro but there I only one bus back to aegean view & that left kos town at 7 pm so we had to get taxi back to hotel each time we went to kos town but that was only 8 euros. Veiws from rooms are excellent if you are looking for a very quiet base the hotel is ok but we felt it was a bit to far out in the sticks and if you wanted to walk to kos town it was a good 50 mins stroll

"Aegean View Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel is probably the nicest i've ever stayed in with the best views. However i would not recommend going here to anyone who likes hot food, a little bit of nightlife or a warm swimming pool! The food throughout the day was cold everything from chips to casseroles to anything that should be hot! it was all much the same and i was very suprised to have not had any thing traditionally Greek for lunch or dinner. Chips are the order of the day and night as they are always on the menu however always cold. The hotels own website shows sunbeds on the beach as being free watch out as those shown are from the man next door who has a lovely bit of beach and he charges you 5 euros which when you see what really belongs to The hotel you will be happy to pay! If you like to be stuck up a hill and like to walk for an hour before you find even a shop then this place is for you but if you like just a tiny bit of something other than the hotel then dont book here. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The swimming pools are absolutely lovely very nice to look at as this is all anyone did as they were freezing it was very rare to see anybody brave enough to have a dip.

Overall Hotel Rating:
This has to be the best family holiday we've had so far.The complex is very well run and is kept very clean at all times. Our room was cleaned daily,as were the pools and all of the public areas. My one niggle with the room was that the shower was hand held. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a special mention must go to Alexia who works in the poolside bar during the day.The food on offer was of a good standard and at lunch and dinner times was particularly varied. So much so that I tried a number of dishes that i'd never eaten before and, with the exception of one, enjoyed them all.The animation team were always on hand to get people involved in various activities throughout the day and in the evenings they also provided the entertainment.Whilst performed with great enthusiasm, sadly the entertainment was better received by the kids, who made up the majority of the audience each night. Overall I would have to say that this was an excellent holiday and would not hesitate to go back to the Aegean View.
