"Shock Location"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Returning to Kos for the 2nd time. On arrival I was shocked at the location of the Hotel It was up a steep rd with houses at the front and a bike rental shop and pot holes the Hotel was eveything we were expecting Beautiful! very clean the food at breakfast was really good (greek yogurt & honey to die for) however the evening meal disapointing plenty to choose from tho! would of liked to see more greek night's on, some greek music playing would of been nice so we decided to visit some Taverna's Excellant! Animation team at hotel very good always time for a little chat, owners of hotel mizzos! Lots of places to see Zia for the sunset is very nice only 7 euro minibus pick up at the hotel and drop off. Turkey for the day also very good 15 euro from the harbour. Paradise beach 4 euro on the bus from kos town. Kalymnos well worth a visit by boat. Try and book these trips yourself as you will save a fair bit of money (not reps) we hired bikes for 2 days brill!you will be amazed how much ground you will cover and the sights you will see, we stayed on Lambi last time and it was really nice to go back and have a look around. The shops in Kos town are of two kind's old little cobble streets selling traditional then there are the town shops at the back. The Taverna at the back of the church & market well worth a visit!Drinks round the back very cheap 1/2 price of the front harbour bars. I find Kos a magical place and will be back time & time again!!!!

"Kos Town/Psalidi"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We arrived on 14 June 2008, for 2weeks, lousey flight times, but what a pick me up when we got here, the Hotel frontage does not do credit for a superb hotel,we were greeted by a lovely night porter and his dog, and shown to our room, which was excellent, after a few hours sleep, we went on a dicovery walk around hotel, and could not fault anything, as the day progressed it came apparent this deserves its 4* rating, ROOMS, these are high decor and cleaness, and spaceous,a/c was working great, towels changed as required, and maid service every day, MEALS,these were a bit continental in choice but you could always make a tasty dinner etc, the sweets were mouth watering, breakfast was every thing you wanted and more, POOLS. these are fantastic, plenty of sunbeds, pay 3Euros and change your pool towel as much as you want, the jacuzzi is great, and they are kept in a clean state.also swim up bar, UUUMMMM!!!! SERVICE, we found this faultless met all our requests, with ease and politeness.just ask in a nice polite way, BARS, these are relly good especialy the pool bar barman, SPARTAK, he is so good and makes you feel so welcome, also his sidekick Alexander, after midnight they become very funny especially if you like a drink, and want to try others, ENTERTAINMENT, this is a quite good, some visiting acts are good, but relies mainly on the animation team, day time activities are the usual vollyball, water aerobics, and a few other games, but not to pestering, LOCATION, not for the disabled as such as on a slight hill, and there are steps to everywhere, but lift and slopes, only a 30 min slow walk from the centre of KOS,bikes, car, quads, sand buggies, etc all for hire, hire bikes from outside hotel cheaper, and car from AUTOWAY AUTOS near Kos town as you walk in opposite the marina, very nice and helpful, SUMMERY, we had a brill time went all over island and also visited Turkey for day, shop around harbour we went for 15euro inc port tax, city tour, boat was Konstakis, need passport, must visit ZIA village, all trips are pounds cheaper if you go to kos and shop around, we saved pounds, hotel drinks were expensive, also water etc, and the mini bar is a nono, emergency only, plenty of english people,if you want a nice luxery, quite, well cared for holiday with the wild life a walk away, this is the place, definattly will be going back,
