A very good resort. Been twice and its got a bit of everything. Particulary recommend the excellent "Greek Kitchen" restaurant. Its a bit further up the street but absolutely superb. Great food and fantastic staff.

if you want to exeperience the Greek side of this Island, enjoy great food, and amazing weather Tingaki has it all. It is big enough to eat as a different place all day every day for a week, and the prices and service is worth 2 -3 x what you pay, so value is great. The beach is very close by, and has lots of seaweed, but still is child freindly with its gentle. shelving. I visited Kardemena for the day, and their couldn't be a bigger contrast if you tried, as that is suitable for heavy partying & drinking, where you can completly wind down and relax in Tingaki. I would love to visit this beautiful town again. Don't book excursions with the reps, as you can get so much cheaper via the many tour operators on the main strip.

Fairly quiet resort with a good selection of mini markets and tavernas. Never had a bad meal the whole time we were there. All the tavernas had kids menus or would make a child size portion from the adult menu for half price. Lovely long, clean sandy beach with shallow water. Great location as it's only a few kilometers from Kos town, Airport, Zia and Mastihari with it's waterpark. Booked several trips in and around Kos and to neighbouring islands with Theokritos Travel. Louise was very enthusiastic and helpful, and their trips were the most reasonably priced in the resort. We were picked up and dropped off at our apartments and on more than one occasion Louise collected us in her car if it fitted better with our plans. Great customer service.

For people who want to relax on a quiet sandy beach, eat out in a different place each night, and don't want to be surrounded by the 18-30 crowd!

Tingaki is a quiet resort with plenty of beaches and sunbeds. There are lots of restaurants catering for everyone .There are swimming pools which can be used by anyone so long as you buy a drink etc. There is horseriding on the beach for those who want to be energetic. A bus runs to the water park, and the local buses run into Kos Town. You can book tours with a local company to see the rest of the island or you can take a boat trip to other islands.

a taxi to Kos town cost 10 euros there and 10 back ! well worth it if youre looking for a more party atmosphere ! bar street is great ! great deals on drinks and stuff ! would go more in season next time tho as it wasnt that busy but we had met a big crowd in our hotel thank god or our holiday would not have been the same ! there is a mcdonalds right round the corner from the best bars so thats always good after a drink :) taxi drivers can be quite sleazy so just be careful what u tell them n stuff !!

Tingaki may not be a truly traditional village but is still a really lovely resort for a holiday. Plenty bars and tavernas, never had a bad meal in two weeks. Favourites were Spyros, Scala, Saggitarius and Meni. Lots of gift shops and couple of minimarkets, Konstantinos further up main road very big but we found it expensive. We booked a few trips with Theokritas Travel who were really helpful. Went on 3 island boat trip, evening in Zia, waterpark and Masihari for the day. Mastihari was beautiful and I would love to go back there for a holiday but it was a lot quieter than Tingaki and the kids would get bored, will have to wait till they go off with their mates! Took a eurocard with us and didn't find out till we got there that the atm won't take mastercard, got bus into Kos town but maximum daily withdrawal was 200euro. Louise from theokritas travel gave us some good advice and a couple of lifts into town and we ended up drawing the whole amount out from the national bank in Kos town. Beach in Tingaki was lovely. Our apartments had no pool so we used pool at Mythos apartments and Marianna Hotel (which was so quiet we had it to ourselves for the whole day!) Had a brilliant holiday and would definitely return to this resort.

The resort of Tingaki is lovley very quite and flat. I have been before and i will go again. There is just enough to see and do and there are plenty of trips to go on. Hilghy recommended.

not an awful lot to do but had the basic bars, shops and restaurants and a lounger on the beach what more do you need :)

The resort of Tingaki itself is beautiful and cannot be faulted, but beware of what you read on holiday review websites.

We never saw the resort so can not comment properly.

The location is a little remote and you can not walk to anywhere from the hotel. A taxi to Kos town is 10 euros but to be honest there was enough at the hotel to keep us amused all week.

Easy to find somewhere for all budgets and tastes to eat. Rodini's is one of the best for food, service frendliness at a very reasonable price. (cocktails 2.50 Euros, fruit & sparklers too. Long drinks the same price, we thought they got stronger as the holiday went on Ha Ha). Irene in 7 dayz is a lovely lady who also has good food at a good price, funny too. If you go to the beach and use DANA's taverna their sunbeds are free, their food is very good too. It is run by two brothers who've been there for years and all the food is good home cooking. Most tavernas are on the long stretch of the main road or on the beach front, just have a good wander and you will soon find one to fit your pallete and pocket, ask others to see where they've been and recomend too.

The views are fantastic, as are the beaches - 10 km of lovely white sand. the people are lovely and friendly, the food is also fabulous and reasonably priced.tingaki is a lovely place but i also suggest the hiring of a quad as the isalnd of kos has plenty to see and the greek drivers are careful around tourists beeping as they are about to take over. Tigaki has all the amenities you need, a lovely beach with fabulous views, and is just a short bus ride to Kos Town. You can do loads of trips as well, I went to Rhodes and Turkey and the volcano on Nissyros, as well as touring Kos. The weather was beautiful and the people were so friendly. Tigaki is small but perfectly formed, if you are thinking of going, book now you won't regret it!!

Lovely resort with a gorgeous beach. Very quiet during the day but plenty of restaurants and bars available for families and couples. Not really suitable for party animals.

Not for young party animals but Kos is small and with a car you can soon get around so boredom shouldn't be an issue -yound people should pick say Kos town or a busier place - Kos town by the way has some beautiful sights/shops/bars etc.
