would recommend tingaki if you have children, the beaches are lovely and the sea is never out,it only reaches your waist (adult) about 30 yards out.

"An "Oasis""

This resort is quiet, it has loads of places to eat, no nightlife as such, so not suitable for youngsters. Which is good! The beach at Mamari is better, and less crowded, but if you go further up the beach at Tingkai, it gets quieter, and less commercial.

These apartments are basic but very spacious, they are cleaned once a week with new sheets and towels. The pool area is lovely with spectacular views of the mountains all around. Set in beautiful gardens the pool is very clean with enough sunbeds to go arou...

Staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday. The rooms were cleaned daily. Excellent job! To walk into town it took 10-15 mins along the beach. We ate out every night in different restaurants and we never had a bad meal. We loved every minute of our holiday and we would recommend it to anyone, from couples to young families to older generation. We got on with so many different people. Harrison, our son learnt to swim in the pool this year, his nan would have had kittens watching him jumping in the deep end.

"Good time, shame it was only 2 weeks"

A great place to recharge your batteries & just the right blend of restaurants & bars so everyone is catered for. If you require more excitement then Kos town is only 15-20 mins away.

When we arrived at the Oasis there was a row going on between an aggrieved tourist & the owner(never did find out what about), so we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. However,we enjoyed our 2 weeks at the hotel & the pool was great fo...

Blue flag beach which was clean , had toilets and freshwater showers.Plenty of sunbeds. A bit of a seaweed problem when it got windy as it seemed to at around 3pm every day.Not too many hawkers on the beach. Do have a doughnut once they are huge and tasty. Lots of Thai/Chinese people offering massage but they were not overly persistent. A quiet resort just a few bars so it might bore older teens but we loved it Don't buy trips from your rep. There are local agents selling exactly the same excursions much cheaper for example the round the island trip was 12 euros per person cheaper from the local travel agent. Worst bit of the whole holiday was flight home. Kos airport is much much too small to cope with the numbers of tourists. Make sure you have water with you for the journey home we had to queue outside the terminal building for over 1 1/2 hours around midday. Not very pleasant and very distressing for babies and toddlers. They are very hot on weight of baggage and will charge from 4 to 11 euros per kilo exactly how much our rep said depended on the mood of check in staff. We were collected from our hotel 3 hours before our scheduled flight time. This would not have been enough time to make the flight had it not been delayed
