Wonderful relaxing holiday. I only wanted to go for a week because I thought it would be too quiet. The 2 weeks went far too quickly.

Ionian Holidays run a very good operation, flights on time transfers by taxi to Nidri then speed boat over to Meganissi where hotel owners were waiting to take us by car to the hotel. Family run hotel 25 rooms very clean staff all excellent. Board is B/B but they have a taverna on sight plus one other taverna in village which big George owns, thats where we watched the football they were two brillant nights.

All food excellent and people very friendly, very little tourism. Down at the harbour in Vathi about 6 tavenas all very good.People went out of their way to say good morning. Long walks to beaches but worth the visit. Uphill coming back so take plenty of water. Ferry comes over a few times a day. Go over to Nidri (not my ideal place too much english food) but found some good bars for drinks.Good boat trips. Went on Marine Adventure with Steve he taught us how to snorkel and he collected marine life and explained all about it. Fantastic day lunch included.
On Ferry saw lots of dolphins that made the holiday.

A very relaxing holiday and I am sure we will return.Temp was 95 a little hot.Best time to visit Greece first week in June.
