The George Hotel apartments are set back off the very busy main street of Nidri.There is three apartments blocks the ones we stayed in were looking onto the pool.The well maintained gardens surround the pool and the resturant bar area faces the other side of the pool and offers snacks and meals and a wide range of the drinks. the prices are very much on par with the prices in England. The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them, they are genuine people who really care that your stay with them is as relaxed and will do anything possible to make sure that what you want or need can be provided . We had used the bar during the days we stayed round the pool for lunch and drinks a typlical lunch of Pasta and Burgers and drinks for 4 people was costing between 30 to 50 Euros. On last evening we ate at the hotel resturant, the food and service was lovely plenty of time between courses and ample potions. Apartments are pleasantly furnished,with ample wardrobe and drawer space, self catering facilities are more siuted to making sandwiches and drinks rather than cooking meals, The rooms were cleaned daily, bed lined is changed every three days ample towels are provided which you just left on the floor when you wanted fresh ones. little bottles of shower gel and moisturiser are put in the bathroom and replaced as you use them, The bathrooms have a hairdryer for use. Air conditioning is 100 Euros for 2 weeks and is a must. The temp was reaching 38 most days and was swealtering.

Fantastic resort, this was our honeymoon.. very relaxing. Great choice of tavernas on the harbour front. Would definately go again.
