Just like all other people, I did an extended research on the Internet before I decided to visit the specific place. Here in Germany, it's difficult to find sunny days, clean sea (in fact, you cannot find sea at all), sand etc. Greece was the right place for this, so I decided to spend my holidays in a Greek island of the Aegean. Lesvos seemed the right choice. So it was.

We had a little trouble with the flights, as we have to go via Athens. It took us about 12 hours from Munich, so we were a little tired by the time we arrived at the island. Same thing happened during our return.
The hotel we were staying (Aegean Sun) was located on a fantastic beach, called Agios Isidoros(I think). It was a long sandy beach with clear(absolute) water. We spend most of the day there.
The hotel was ok. It had two swimming pools (I don't remember to use them at all) and all the rooms were seperated in villas (small houses). That was really nice since it was quiet and there was a very greece-like environment (like these at the commercials on tv). Food was nice, staf was kind, although some greek people we've met weren't.
An overall excellent trip in a beautiful place (nowhere at Lesvos island was so beautiful) and a very good hotel service.
If you plan to visit, be carefull with the flights!
