Finikounda is a very typical Greek resort.Most of the stuff you read can be taken with a small pinch of salt,but really the only problem is the food.We`ve had much better food in Stoupa,Chrani and Tolo,but on our second trip this year we took our two granddaughters-6 and 4-and getting edible food for them was really difficult in Finikounda.The food is real Greek-overcooked,oversalted and over-oiled.That said the people are brilliant,Sardelis Studios are very clean,with fabulous views(though we were asked to keep the air-con at 25 minimum which in UK terms is called heating) and the Kosmar reps were spot-on.If we were to settle in Greece it would be in Finikounda or possibly Pylos.As long as you can get into Greek mode and do real self-catering sometimes Finikounda is great.
