If you want a quiet, romantic beach Panormos Beach is a good choice. It doesn't have all the lounge chairs, but then that means you don't have anyone bothering you and you have lots of space.

the resort is in a great location - 5 mins away is a town called Ano Mera - the beach is awesome - we spent most night watching the sunset... just amazing.. There are some very nice bars and restaurants..

Mykonos is a very cosmopolitan place welcoming communities from around the world. Although a very traditional Greek port it is very small and quaint. The town is not really a place for families and children although other resorts on the Island are more suitable.Mykonos town is popular with the gay community and can be very busy when large cruise ships stop by with American tourists. This is a very expensive place and especially eating and drinking out

A lovely small resort located a short cab/bus ride from Mykonos Town. It is possible to walk there in about 25 minutes if you are feeling energetic. Everywhere you go for a meal or drinks you walk on the beach and it is truly lovely. Sun beds cost 12 euros for a pair and the bars provide beach service. Luxurious. The sea is crystal clear and lovely for cooling off in.

Mykonos Town is easily accessible and the choice of restaurants is immense. If you don't fancy the walk back up the hill to the hotel, then just grab a taxi for €3. I would recommend Gola reaturant in the town was great the food was very good and tasty, their motto is absolutely right: Beyond taste! The service was excellent and at the same time very friendly. Both owners are very charming men, they really like to please their guests.

The island of Mykonos is a very beautiful island, but only for the rich. Everything was so expensive for even the simplest thing. For example, newspaper cost around 4 to 5 Euro, and a book cost around 14 Euro, even if it says £5 on the cover. Therefore, unless you are happy to be ripped off, do not go. Either stay at home or to one of the other islands. It is difficult to relax when you are constantly thinking of the price of everything.

Mykonos Town is fantastic – we aren’t that young so aren’t bothered about the clubs but we don’t want to be bored at night. The bars are good and there are some fantastic restaurants. It is much more Greek than places we have visited in Rhodes/Corfu/Kos.

Ornos is a small village but enough tavernas for a fourtnight's break a couple of bars which are open till late but not noisey.

Mykonos is a high-profile island ,no argument there.Just keep an eye out and do research before you choose.Our area Agios Ioannis has a few restaurants and bars ,but nearby Ornos and Mykonos town have a lot more options.If you are looking to relax this is the place.

Definately a lot better than the hotel - however personally I would say that it is better to go elsewhere in the Greek islands or Corfu.

Brilliant nightlife and excellent beaches!!! Probably the best place my partner and I have been to. Really loved it. The food is amazing too!

I have been with my partner to various gay resorts and this was the best so far. Preferred this to Ibiza Town, it was a bit more laid back and bohemian. Some of the bars are really expensive because the Primrose Hill set have set up camp, but ignore them and have a great time!

We absolutely love Mykonos and will return every few years. although more expensive than any of the other greek ilands we have been to it is by far the most beautiful. Avoid august we felt that we had been dropped off just as calvin klein left all of their underwear models there - enoughto make you turn anorexic!. There are great bus services to the most spectacular beaches. I would reccomend super paradise and elia!

Ornos is a small place but also very stunning, with a short walk to the beach it is worth every step, it is warm the beaches are immaculate and if you go into the water fish even swim around your feet!! It is a short bus ride into Mykonos town and at the beach you can even get a boat to visit another beach, its worth just coming here to see the beach, its an amazing place.

Mykonos Town is really fabulous! We like it very much - so much to do, both day and night. The beach is lovely, the sea is warm. Just the perfect holiday destination really, especially with the large gay scene.
