It is our third stay in Pefkos and we absolutely love it! It is family friendly and as quiet or as lively as you want it to be! The main beach in Pefkos is beautiful sandy and shallow. There are really good restaurants and bars in Pefkos. The best reataurants being Delicias greek/italian just off the main street on a side street, the indian/chinese, Enigma and Corallis. The best bars are Jasmines and Philosophia overlooking the main beach. You must visit Lardos village for a meal in Roulas taverna and a few drinks in Yamas bar or memories bar. Roulas is the best greek restaurant on the island that we have found! It costs approx 6 euros in a taxi to get there and is a good night out! Lindos is another must do especially at night it is totally different to Pefkos, it is absolutely beautiful at night in one of the rooftop restaurants or bars! You should go in the day too to see St Pauls bay where everyone goes to get married it is really pretty. The beaches in Lindos are great too, the water is really calm and clear. If you can hire a car as there are so many lovely places to visit, we really love Gennadi ( only a 15 min drive from Lindos) as the pebble beach is so clean and the sea clear but the best thing is that the beach is always deserted you feel like you are in paradise! Prasonisi is really nice to visit you will see the Kite surfers and windsurfers where the Agean and Med seas meet at the bottom of the island. Rhodes Town is really worth a visit too but do not attempt to drive, get the bus! If you hire a car go to Tsambika or Glystra beach as they are beautiful and sandy. We met a family who had hired a Villa in Gennadi for their holiday and booked their own flights. They could not reccomend it highly enough, they booked it through Savvaidis property management in Rhodes via the internet and they really loved it, so we will do that next year!

It is true you do get what you pay for! We expected Basil Fawlty and Manuel to appear at times during our stay at the Illysion Hotel, Pefkos!! We booked this hotel last minute having stayed in Pefkos twice before we thought it would be ok despite reading mixed reviews! The reception area and pool area are clean and well maintained but this is the only plus point I can talk about! We stayed half board and only had breakfast once- never again and after listening to ALL the other guests complaints about the food never dared to try the evening meals. The service at the hotel is ok in general except for the 'Manager' who was the most ignorant woman ever to breathe and unfortunately the only person serving (or not) in the day! The bar staff in the evening were good and very friendly. The pool bar ran out of draught beer on our second day which meant we never bothered to return and even the main bar ran out of a few things during our stay! The shop was terrible all the fridges were empty, it was ok if you wanted washing up liquid to drink! We did not pay for the fridge as it was daylight robbbery but we managed to pick the padlock instead with our suitcase key! Easy enough and it was the principle! The maid came daily and was really nice but she thought the room was round and always missed the corners! We had grey towels with holes in for our last 4 days! The beds were really uncomfortable and lumpy and the bathroom was really tatty and in need of a good make over! The location of the hotel was good right on the sea with lovely views however it was a 15 min walk from Pefkos which we still did daily but for most it was too far to go. They have caged birds which chirp all day especially at dawn break and they also have a caged deer for some random odd reason which looks really miserable and smells terrible ans seems really cruel and pointless. Despite the hotel being awful we had a really good holiday and none of the bad things I have just described were enough to spoil our 2 weeks in the sun, in fact it was so bad it was funny and was great entertainment value!

Pefkos is a very small resort but there are some lovely bars and restaturants, although a little quiet but this could be due to the time of year that we travelled. A couple of restaurants offer a 3 course meal for 7.5 Euros, initially we avoided these, but the standard and service was equal to other more expensive restaurants. Many of the bars have happy hours but they tend to finish quite early (9pm). Pefkos By Night and Eclipse are definitely worth a visit for a drink. Pefkos By Night has regular entertainment in the evenings. The beach is one of the best that I have been to. It is very clean, the water is clear and does not get deep quickly. There are only 2 bars/restaurants on the beach but this helps to keep it a nice peaceful and relaxing beach. It is definitely worth getting a taxi in to Lindos. It cost 7 euros each way. It is a small Greek town with cobbled streets and roof top bars and restaurants over looking the bay.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the standard and facilities of the apartment compared to other apartments stayed at on the Greek Isles. There was a steep hill to reach our apartment (168) but it was worth it as the balcony was sunny all day and t...

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the standard and facilities of the apartment compared to other apartments stayed at on the Greek Isles. There was a steep hill to reach our apartment (168) but it was worth it as the balcony was sunny all day and the views over Pefkos were lovely, especially at sunset. The swimming pool and bar area were clean and well maintained, but the pool was a little cold!!! It is extremly well located for both the beach and the resort centre. Overall I would definitely recommend this accomadation.

We really enjoyed Lindos and these apartments were exactly what we were looking for. We wanted somewhere with access to a pool, out of the bustling village itself, but within easy walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants. This is what the Romanza provides.

The Romanza is a very small apartment block comprising just 7 rooms (not all with balconies) located above a cafe just off the main road that runs along the top of the village. It is a short 5 minute walk down a steep hill to the village square. The beach is just over a ten minute walk and well worth the effort. The rooms themselves are quite small and basic but clean, tidy and nicely decorated and ideal if its just somewhere to get your head down at night.

Recommended.

Love Pefkos. Always hire a car so we can go out and about during the day, but you can't go wrong at night. Both times we've been to Pefkos we haven't had a bad meal! Tried Terpsis for the first time this time and, although very busy, it was well worth the wait! Colliseum also worth a mention. Oh, and don't forget the Oasis bar on the beach road for after tea - Costa's quiz's are fab!

2nd time at these apartments. When we first got there at around 10pm, we were given the keys to an apartment next to the middle (small) pool on the ground floor. The room is absolutely huge!! Wasn't sure about being on the bottom, but come morning I changed my mind completely! The balcony at the back of the room had gorgeous greenery surrounding it and when we were sitting there, it was so quiet that we felt we were the only people there - bliss! The sun didn't leave our balcony til around 7pm, so we'd sit there enjoying a drink before getting ready. We also had a couple of cats come (they don't get too close, don't worry!) which our daughter liked to feed morning & evening. Poor things will wonder where we are! Am going back to Pefkos next year, but staying in a villa as we're getting married, but would not hesitate in recommending these apartments. Ask for room 602 - you won't be disappointed!!

We stayed at this hotel for four days during a two week stay in Lindos and we absolutely loved it. We had a party of 11 ranging from the ages of 11-60. We had three children between the ages of 11 and 14, two sixteen year olds, two couples in their thirties and one couple who are both 60, and every one of them adored it. We were all inclusive and the food wasn't bad, and the drinks in the bar were fine, even if the cocktails could be quite strong. There was plenty to do around the hotel, and the animation team were very friendly, particularly Neil and Tanya. Some of the bar men acted quite innappropriately towards the sixteen year old girl at times, but luckily she knew how to tell them to get stuffed. The entertainment at night was great, and generally the audience got involved. The sixteen year old boy was ask to and dressed up as 'Smiley The Dog' two nights when we were there, and the sixteen year old girl was in the Miss Election and her dad was in the Mr Election, which was really good fun. There was a mini-disco for the children, which often some of the older teenagers in our group ended up getting involved in. The rooms in the hotel were comfy and the hotel scenery was beautiful. It's a holiday we'll always have fond memories of.

Unfortunatly there isnt much in the way of attractions outside the hotel itself. However the beaches around are lovely and I would say a must do thing is to hire a car and take a tour of the island. My friend and Myself managed to take an island tour in one day. Using the coast roads, this means you get to see all the beautful veiws. If that dosnt take your fancy, Take a trip to one of the beaches which a member of staff at the hotel shall recomend in your welcome meeting or the person who lends you the car. Take a trip to those beaches they are Beautiful. The best I have seen in a long time. The nightlife is amazing. Lots to do for younger adults, I garuntee you will have a great time.

This year I experianced what must be the best holiday I have ever been on. Not only did I take this oppertunity with a very close friend but the standard of everything in the hotel was so high it made the whole thing 10times better. The staff were extreamly friendly and made you feel right at home. The entertaiment on an evening was good I assume but I dont know for sure since I do not speak much german. Unfortunatly the english entertainment team only take to the stage once a week which is a shame, however there is lots of stuff to do if you don't speak German. For examply they have a singing act on in the lobby for those people in particular. Of course everyone is welcome to do what they like and it is a very family orintated holiday resort. There is alot of fun things to get up to. I recomend this resort, I had an absolutely fantastic time and I don't think anyone should miss out on such a beautiful resort! Really you should go!!

Palm Bay needs to do a lot of improving to come up to standard. The location is excellent but accommodation needs a revamp.

Not good If you book this with Olympic holidays you will be put into one of the caves not the pleasant looking white apartments on the photos. The temperature in the smaller ones was astronomical even with fan at your expense.Air conditioning expensive and not really effective. Get used the ants, the leaking toilets, the wardrobe in the air and the total lack of a balcony. You have a stone type table opposite the cell with a communal walkway through the middle. Without doubt the worst ever we have had in Greece. No Olympic rep, no concern and no real interest
