The locals are all very friendly and they love children and most of the shop keepers have a bowl of sweets that they give out to children there is a train that does tours around kolymbia also horse and carriages

Kolymbia review
"Not much going on in Kolymbia"
resort to a friend
Nothing much going on just a few bars and shops. Beach was very pebbley. Would be great for Elderly people.

Not much going on in this resort alot of empty, half built buildings,pebble beaches, no good for young children.

On the site of the hotel there is a supermarket run by Glynis and Stamatis, everything is reasonably priced, also a jewellery shop. There is an internet cafe which is free for guests. There are buses just outside with frequent buses to Rhodes town, Stamatis has even provided a bench for you to sit on while you wait. There are small restaurants and bars nearby and the beach is a short walk away. Ideal.

Nice resort a bit more traditional greece with some nice cheap places to eat. The beaches themselves were a bit pebbly but if you walked a bit further rond there were some quite nice sandier beaches. It is quite well located for trips into Rhodes Town and Lindos (both of which are an absolute must).

Didn't venture out around Kolymbia looks quiet though. Did go over to Lindos for day which is lovely.

One thing i would say if your wanting a pool/beach holiday which keeps the family entertained and is safe this your best bet - becuase its in Lardos other areas of interest on the island such as lindos and Rhodes are a fair trip away - it is possible to get a hire car,bus or taxi but at best these are 45 - 50 minutes away.

Faliraki review
"Faliraki our best holiday we've EVER had"

Me & my mates stayed in Faliraki last summer & we are back again this summer. The place was so friendly & FUN. We been to a lot of the party resorts in Greece but for atmosphere there was no other place like Faliraki it was awesome. We heard about Faliraki on the internet through Faliraki TV & it looked so cool we had to book a holiday there. I would recommend the resort to anyone. Drinks weren't as cheap as we thought they would be in a lot of places & the food wasn't great but the holiday was AMAZING.

A bit too quiet, if you stay here make sure you are in an all singing and dancing hotel. The beach is ok, but torture on your bare feet due to the shingles. The sea is gorgeous though.

Didn't realy spend much time in resort its self but generally is a bitty kinda place with a stretch of maybe 40or50 shops and bars not really somewhere i would want to be on a self catering holiday A work in progress maybe beach not nice sand

Very deserted, few shops, not a lot around, beach shingles, need a car to get out and about as nothing really around, felt like trapped in the middle of nowhere!

The most friendly place on earth. We have been going for almost 20 years and seen many changes , all for the good. This is a resort which caters for families, young couples, mature couples or groups of friends as there is something for every one. It is spotlessly clean, safe and thug free. Never fail to have a wonderful time.

Pefkos was lovely. It is reasonably quiet and relaxed and there are some really nice restaurants. Also there are some good shops to walk around at night. The beach is nice, we would definately consider going back.

A nice little quiet get away. hire a car and go research the island. Lindos good as is Rhodes town. Some good beaches in the Lindos vacinity and beyond.
