We have just returned from a week's holiday in the wonderful Afandou Village Apartments. Without a doubt these are the best Greek apartments we have stayed in. Kevin and Sally the owners are super. They have put a lot of thought into their package. They picked us up from the airport and took us back at the end of our week. There was an extremely generous welcome pack waiting for us.There is a good information pack about the area. Even a hairdryer and beach towels are included.

The Apartment itself is lovely - very spacious, immaculately clean - first class accommodation for a very reasonable price. Joy of joys, for Greece, toilet paper can even be flushed down the loo!.Everything is included in the price, even the air-conditioning. A brilliant base to explore a lovely, interesting area.

Thanks Kevin and Sally for helping to give us an unforgettable holiday.

This was our first visit to Rhodes and it certainly isn't going to be the last! The owners of the Afandou Village Apartments, Kevin & Sally, are absolutely wonderful people--nothing is too much trouble and they make sure that you are comfortable, well stocked up, and above all, happy. The apartments are delightful, extremely clean, beautifully furnished, and of a standard that would be difficult to beat anywhere. We were picked up from the airport by Kevin and Sally to be greeted at the apartment by a well stocked fridge, free air conditioning, and friendliness in abundance. The only problem we found was having to go home after such a lovely and relaxing holiday. 10star treatment for one star prices. Long may Kevin and Sally flourish!!.

Just returned from Afandou Village Apartments & had a great holiday made even better by these fantastic apartments. Kevin & Sally the owners make sure that they think of everything to ensure that your holiday is enjoyed to the full. They include lots of extra touches including picking you up & dropping you off at the airport which makes such a difference. The welcome pack that they include in the rental price is also such a welcome addition when you arrive at 3 o'clock in the morning. Can't praise these apartments & the owners enough & we will be returning again & again.

Fantastic , the location was superb, very friendly people nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel like locals.
Kevin and sally the owners of the apartments were simply outstanding, they picked us up at the airport - @ 2.30 AM with a warm welcome ,drove us back to the apartment giving us some do's and dont's on the way.
The apartment was luxurious well fitted out with all mod con's.
We found the welcome pack very usefull- tea, coffee, sugar, milk beers and wine in the fridge, and also a bottle of local olive oil picked from the garden.
They looked after us all week with invites to local festivals and an invitation to their roof top garden for a BBQ.
WE WANTED FOR NOTHING
The area itself was very traditional and gave a real feel for the Greek way of life which we thorughly enjoyed.
Dont miss this opportunity for a totally relaxing break in the sun.
We enjoyed so much that we are going back for another week end of August early September

Afandou Village Apartments were wonderful. Very clean and beautifully fitted out. Run by Kevin and Sally who seem to have thought of everything you need in your apartment. They even provided beach towels! The little extra touchesmade such a differenceand gave the apartments such a homely feel.
The fact that they picked us up from the airport was most helpful having arrived late at night. No trying to get a taxi, we immediately felt relaxed. They provided an information pack in the apartment that gave tips on places to eat and things to see which proved to be very useful.

Afandou is a lovely traditional village where we were made most welcome by the locals who are so friendly.
We particularly enjoyed eating at Theo,s taverna. A small fish tavernatucked away in a little back street. It is the house that Theo was born inand is now his restaurant. It is a wonderful experience sitting inside this beautiful old Greek house and watching Theo prepare your meal. He is a wonderful character with a lovely family who all help him.
Danielle's was also a very good place to eat and exceptionally good value for money, Freshly made pizza in an olive wood burning oven and drinks for around 15 Euros for 2 people. They also had many other tradional disheson the menu.

We enjoyed days out on the bus to Rhodes Town and to Lindos. The buses were very cheap and reliable.
The beaches on the East coast where Afandou is situated were much better than those on the west coast with the little cove of Anthony Quinn being a real highlight.

We are looking forward to going back soon.

Have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in the Afandou Village Apartments. These are run by Kevin and Sally who are extremely helpful and informative and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your holiday. The apartments are clean and spacious and have everything you need. The beds are comfy and the linen is good quality. The location of the apartments is excellent as they are a few minutes walk from the village of Afandou and about a half hours walk from the beach. I believe in the Summer there is a little train that runs from the village to the beach. The bus service is great and the bus stops in the village on a regular basis. We enjoyed the pizzas at Danielles in the village and the icecreams at Mikes. The people in Afandou are friendly and it is not spoilt by tourism. It is a traditional greek village and you can see the old ladies sitting outside their houses in the sun who are delighted if you say Kalimera (good morning) to them.

We would recommend these apartments to anyone.

My/Our Holiday Opinion,

Arrival/Apartment.

This being our first family holiday in Afanduo Rhodes, was set off to a very good start. By the fact we were collected from the airport by the owners (and taken back to the airport at the end of the holiday) at no charge. Then whilst on route to the apartment we were advised of nice places to visit on route.

On arrival at the appartment, we were shown around. Which is best explained as very homely, clean and inviting. With the additional point that you have AirConditioning that is included (at no charge). A nice patio area with BBQ, Table and Chairs. Also the owners Kevin and Sally, had put together a nice informatiom brochure for the visitors.

We also found once settling in a small welcome pack of milk,Tea,Coffee,Sugar, biscuits and water. Which is always nice, as we could relax on arrival. Before venturing the area.

The Resort/Area

We found Afanduo Village, a lovely place to sit,eat and drink. The locals made us welcome.

A few of places to eat or drink in Afanduo for startes are

1. ";Theos";, excellent food and charactor.
2. ";Neons"; - Good food and friendly.
3. ";Mikes"; - Good food and friendly.

With a road Train from the town centre to Afanduo beach if you did not have a car (cost 1 euro !!). Which is very nice and relaxing.

We found this a very nice place to stay. As we could travel from here by either Bus or Car to other places with ease. With a lot of things to do locally also.

On a final Note - A great holiday and place to stay.
