Value for money, no entertainment and very little food, but we had a good time, Paris and George were very friendly. Places to eat, if you went right at end of road and walked for about 15 mins, you come to Luna Bar which has excelent food, but if you went left from hotel up to traffic lights, turn right, after half a mile take the left fork, handful of bars there, Alkionis good food, Royal very friendly bar, Nirvana good food, or Greekland good food again plus entertainment with some Greek singing followed by some more well known songs

Overall Hotel Rating:
We arrived two hours late as we were delayed in the UK. On first sight everything seemed okay as it was midnight when we arrived. The apartment was big but very dirty. We had a shower (if you could call it that) the shower head looked as though it had not been cleaned for six months. It was eye level resting on the taps so you had to stand in the shower and use the shower head to spray over you by hand. We had one table which was a plastic garden table which looked as though it was going to collapse. The kettle did not work but we took our own travelling kettle. We had no oven only two rings, no toaster. This was supposed to be a self catering apartment, but you could not cook anything not even a snack. I asked on the first day if we could have another bin as we only had one for the toilet paper and I was told no and we were to empty our own bins round the corner.
Paras the owner was pleasant enough but I would not like to upset her. She had some friends staying there who apparently go there twice a year every year and they were friendly but did take over the complex a bit as it was very small. The swimminng pool was good and the bar okay (when it was open!) When her friends went home half way through our holiday the bar closed at 10.00 pm even though they advertised it open till 2.00 am in the guide in the apartment. Alex the son was okay but was very lazy.
Across the busy main road which runs between Ixia and Ialyssos is a snack bar called Debby's. This is more of a bar for locals and expats which was brilliant. They did good food and we spent many of an evening there and made alot of friends. Marie behind the bar was great her mother Debbie cooked some awesome food We always had a nice greeting everyday from George.
We had a good time but would definately would not go back to Parasun Studios.

"Parasun Studios review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The Parasun Studios in Ialyssos, is a family run hotel with the usual pool and beach bar. The room was clean enough with a nice private balcony but the facilities were basic. There was no air con and the fan for hire that we were promised took several requests and three days to arrive. As the night time temperatures are stifling and the humidity is high the delay mattered.
The centre of the resort, offering the usual selection of bars and restaurants, is a fifteen minute walk from the hotel and the beach is about 10 minutes away. To get to each of these places you have to cross the main Rhodes highway. The locals do it by walking out in the small gaps in the traffic. The drivers expect you to do this, though its a bit hairy at first.
There are several good eating places in the main resort. In some of these the food is OK. Beware of the prices in the specialist fish restaurants. The best eating places are out of the centre.
A must is Debby's on the main road close to the hotel. It calls itself a ";snack bar";. Don't let that fool you. It's used by locals and the food is excellent and great value.
For something more sophisticated and a break from the ";chips and cheese with everything"; places, find ";Chronos"; an indonesian restaurant(!!) not far from Debby's place on the main road. Here you will be provided a meal of super quality for around 20 euros a head(including wine). You will have to wait around 40 mins for them to cook it, but everything good comes to him who waits.
We hired a car from ";Star"; cars for £150 for a week. The guys there, like most of the people we met were really helpful and friendly.
Of course you have to be careful when you go to Rhodes City itself. Check the prices before you buy. We paid £12 for three glasses of Coke in the at the Symposium Garden restaurant in the old town.
Watch out for the ";time share"; kids on their scooters who approach everybody they see who looks ";undercooked";. You will have the winning scratch card like we did and of course they'll say it's not time-share. We spent an hour and a half in some hotel being sold to by a David Brent look-alike before walking out. We met a couple more polite than us who had done a four hour stretch.
Apart from that and my wife being stung by a jellyfish (in the sea, not the hotel pool; though she wonders whether she would have seen it in there either if you know what I mean) we had a good holiday.
PS.watch out for the inflated prices for a late check out!
