We have just returned from our hols to the Esperides. Initial thoughts were "where are the English" as we seemed to be surrounded by different nationalities. But after a few days the Brits emerged and we felt more at home. Having said that the other nationalities were very pleasant. The 11 strong entertainment were mainly Italian and 2 Swiss and were absolutely fantastic. Always took the time out in the morning and come round and say hello and have a chat. Their English was great although in the evening the entertainment had to be explained in 3 languages. Seems a pain but honestly you don't notice after a while and about 90% is mainly all spoken in English. The team were so enteraining it didn't matter. The hotel is the cleanest I have ever been in with your beds made every day and fresh towels daily. The hotel was spotless, around poolside, in dining halls etc. Loads to do for the kids and we almost never got to see them!! Dodgem cars, merry go round, bouncy castle, mini-golf, table tennis, climing wall in pool and 2 great flumes. Plenty of pool space but a word of warning we did have to set our alarm clocks for 5.30am to get the best spots around the pool. Enough sunlounges anyway but we got a bit particular about where to sunbathe. Food was great as there are 2 lovely big dining halls. Not much outside the hotel but a parada of shops which sold mainly fur coats!!! and jewellery but Faliraki only 30 min walk away. Overall a fantastic holiday and lovely clean hotel.

What a fanatastic hotel!

We travelled in a large party (13 of us in total) with ages ranging from 68 to 2 and i can honestly say that there was something here for all ages. The hotel itself has free!!! water slides for the children which kept ours entertained for hours. The staff around the resort are very friendly and are not overpowering if you do not want to join in with the water polo for instance. The food is excellent and there is a wide variety that does not get boring some of the puddings are to die for!!Sun beds were also never a problem and we found that we didn't have to be up at the crack of dawn to get one for the day.The hotel is also exceptionally clean and the cleaning staff are still on duty late into the night. The entertainment was also brilliant with a mini disco for the little ones every night followed by some great entertainment every night. It was great fun!!!

The rooms are lovely we had a family one with bunk beds and a double but my parents had a double room which was lovely too. They are cleaned to a high spec every day.Outside the hotel there isn't much apart from a few shops and a lovely little train that will take you into Falaraki which the kids loved but if your a couple might prove rather tedious after two weeks.I understand that the hotel has now gone all inclusive which i think is probably a good idea considering the location of the hotel .

The beach was not that good only being about a foot wide and full of large pebbles but it is right outside the hotels back door and again has plenty of sunbeds at any timer of the day. If your a beach loving person i wouldn't bother.
