The Virginia was very clean on arrival and kept as such throughout our whole holiday. The reception staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful.

This accomodation is about 200km from Kalithea itself, so is not surrounded by anything other than 2 other hotels and wasteland. As there is no entertainment, people with children could find it a bit tedious in the evening because there isn't much to do.

It's not all bad, because the beach was only a short walk across the road and down a steep slope, but was worth making the effort. We watched some beautiful sunsets from the beach. The beach is pleasant enough but a bit pebbly and there are many sun loungers with parasols for use by anyone that wants to use them.

We went all inclusive and had understood this accomodation to be 4*, however, we think that 2-3* for the accomodation is more realistic and about 1-2* for the food! There wasn't much to choose from at meal times and what wasn't eaten at one meal was served up in disguise for the next! We did have a lovely restful break, but the meals we had out were our saving grace. This the first time that we came back from holiday having lost weight! Please note that the bar closes for all-inclusive residents at 10.45pm after which time everyone has to pay.
