Kramasti itself has a nice beach and the town is worth a visit in the evening, hire a car and explore, Rhodes is a lovely island.

Pay extra and go for a higher rated hotel.

We have just returned from this hotel and would honestly say it was the worst we have stayed in for a long time. We were charged 125 euros for aircon and a safe box as soon as we arrived. No fridge, no tea or coffee facilities in room, so apart from break...

Laid back village no nightclubs but some really nice bars to have a drink in. Would recommend Michalis' for a bite to eat (great value and great food) and Tommies bar for the pool tournament (they have a web cam so have a look on it before you go and give your family the details so they can have a nosey and try and spot you).

If you wanted something livlier you could visit the next town or go into Rhodes (only 11E in a taxi but the drink is much more expensive).

Beach is great and defo worth a visit. When you get to the beach go the the sun loungers at the right (3E). Nico looks after this part and is really friendly and helpful and is a lifeguard. The beach snack bar food is great & really good value, it makes traditional home made chips. The breach is pebbly at the start of the water so to get in this can be a bit sore on the feet (once in it is sandy) so would recommend you take an old pair of trainers or buy a pair of shoes you can wear in the water I got mine in Rhodes for 6E. The sea is great once in so don't let this put you off.

The Kramasti Church is the largest on Rhodes island, it is worth a visit inside - quite breath taking. Greeks are very religious and traditional so makre sure respectfully dressed before you enter.

There is a WW2 german tank down near the beach - good photo if you like that type of thing!!

If Kramasti is too quiet don't panic the taxi's are reasonably priced to get you around. We thought before going it would be too quiet and we would need to venture outside the village but this was not the case and we had a great time and met some great people - the holiday is what you make it.
