"St. John's Hotel review"

This was the worst holiday I have ever had.

The pool was dirty and the rooms were not much better. If you fancied a drink or swim, then prepare yourself for a 30 minute hike on roads that are very dangerous, espeacialy for kids.
The village of Lardos itself is friendly and quaint, but be prepared for endless powercuts, meaning your meal might take sometime before its cooked.

Oppas in the square was well run with good food and a lovely little boy called Constantine who walks round smiling at the girls.
I would not go back to St Johns,if the holiday was FREE.

After waiting an hour for our bags at Rhodes airport we had a slow but comfortable ride to Lardos. We arrived at about midnight and could not see much at all during the journey to the hotel, but had a very friendly welcome from Angelo (hes a good laugh) and had a large pizza, hmmm. When we got up in the morning we had a great view of the sea, which was about a 5 min. walk down a side road and Lardos town was a 10 min. walk either down the main road or a walk round the scenic route and Pefkos and Lindos are a shorld ride on a bike or about 5 euro for a taxi but the food in St.Johns is just as good as anything you could find elsewhere. We done the whole of Rhodes in a car and we are definatley going back at sometime. Good pool and good beaches if you look about and the rooms where better than the usual greek rooms and are cleaned everyday with fresh towels everyday too. The staff are the best and it was sad to leave.
