Lindos - fab. Beaches are great - some good snorkelling in the bay and off the main beach. A bit crowded so book your sunbed early Resteraunts are fab - must try Ceasers and Accropolis (very good value and quality) Plenty to see and do Good bus connections to the rest of the island

As a resort Lindos is exceptional with a good mixture of tourist 'tat' (browse but don't buy) and cloths and jewellery shops. Add to that the history and scenary and it is an excellent base for a holiday in rhodes. Driving in Rhodes is fine so I recommend hiring a car and exploring. Its cost me 110 euros for three days and is a far cheaper alternative than the organised trips. As a final comment I went in August and the tempreture was around 40c for the fortnight so it was very hot.

A walk down a fairly steep hill brings you into Lindos - but what a quaint village! Lots of walkways leading off a main stretch with typically greek shops, bars and restaurants on them - great!!

Excellent resort lovely restraunts superb beach The streets are full of character ,with most of the restraunts having roof patios with veiws across the bay & the town , the bars are fairly lively & the people make you feel very welcome

Lindos Town, is one of the most amazing places i have been to. Sitting on the Roof top restaurants in the evening is amazing, seeing the Acopolis lite up is breathing. Go in the Sunburst arms, Andy is so friendly. Dyonosos, Odydessa two most amazing restaurants. Socrates bar if you like abit of rock. Beaches are so clean. My husband walked up to the top of the Acopolis, far too high for me.

Lindos town is a 5 minute taxi ride away and will provide you with a lovely town to explore, with a stunning beach, if you wanted a little bit more nightlife then the hotel provides Lindos would be the place to go with a few lively bars and restaurants.

The beach at Lindos Mare was clean and had a waiter to take food and drink orders from you. There was one local shop and a couple of Restaurants to eat at which were good value for money and had very friendly locals.

Busy by day with day trippers, large beach plenty of sunbeds, gorgeous bay with lovely safe swimming. At night fairly quiet, lots of lovely restaurants. Interesting little shops. Felt sorry for the poor donkeys carrying fat adults in the heat of the day

Not a lively resort but good for a relaxing traditional greek town. Quite a steep hill down into the town but plenty of quality restaurants with roof top gardens over looking the Acropolis. Dionysos , and Acropolis were our favorite , also Olympia and Caesars . Great atmosphere in Giorgos and Great food in Yannis bar. No hassling in the town , freedom to browse with no pressure. Would definitely return.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

lindos is very pretty and unspoilt.my kind of holiday relaxing and easy going not as hectic as some modern resorts.the village has appeal for all ages plus some great history.i highly recommend lindos to any age as long as you dont have walking difficulties it can be very steep in parts.

the resort very nice but very hilly not good for people who are bad on there feet . not wheelchair friendly

Lindos is pretty nice. The beach where we were stayuing is lovely, on a little bay. The resort centre has some good shops and restaurants, but is fairly laid back and relaxing.

One recomendation - lindos is beautful and with some amazing histrical sites - also there is a bus the runs pas the hotel (you can catch it and jump off right outside) that goes to Rhodes town and that is very much worth a visit.

Lindos is a great place, as no matter how many times you look around, there is always another path to see and explore. The people are very friendly and helpful. We cannot fault the beaches as they were great, although you must find a sandy path into the sea as the rocks are a bit tender to the feet. We recommend going up the acropolis, especially by donkey as the views and scenery are unique.

Avery nice place to spend your 1 or 2 weeks holiday .Its a pretty place with welcoming people . The beaches are nice ,with plenty of bars and little shops around . There are lots of lovely restaurants with rooftop terraces on ,so you can eat your evening meal under the beautiful acropolis that is lit up at night .There are plenty of bars catering to all your needs ,ie sports,60s,traditional and even a couple of night clubs .
