Never went to lindos as we enjoyed the beach while it was sunny at the hotel.The water was warm and easy to swim in

the hotel is right on the beach with it's own private beach, so a beautiful location. Lindos is a short taxi ride away, which is ideal, as lindos itself is beautiful, but can be buy with tourists, especially in the day. If you ant a nice secluded location, but with places within easy reach, this place is ideal.

Lindos is beautiful! There is plenty to see and do. We actually got married there at St Paul's Bay. The first week was just the two of us and our little girl then the guests arrived for the second week. They stayed at various places in Lindos and Pefkos but it's a small enough resort to all meet up occasionally. It's only 6 euros by taxi from Lindos to Pefkos. The hill up from the centre of town is steep but there are plenty of taxis and a free bus runs during the day. The Acropolis is well worth a visit and only costs about 6 euros per person. Beware that it is a steep walk up though so you may want to take advantage of the donkey station at 5 euros each way! However there are plenty of places to stop and take a rest. The beaches are lovely and clean and St Paul's Bay is definitely the best option for families with young children. It is shallow clear water and very calm.

Lardos was the closest village to our holiday villa and was just one of the several villages we visited. Lardos has some excellent local tavernas and probably slightly cheaper than those in Pefkos and Lindos. Do try Valentinas which is just off the main square. The nightlife is quite low key with some bars around the main square but the locals are friendly and we had many a late night on the cocktails.

Not to be missed is the local butcher who is quite a character - go here for your meat for your BBQ.

There is a go-kart track which is open until late at night and also mini golf. The resorts of Lindos, Pefkos and Gennadi were all within a ten minutes drive and so there really is something for everyone.

Absoutely lovely resort, lots of nice bars and restaurats and a gorgeous beach. This was our third visit, it is really nice at the end of October when it is a bit cooler and quieter.

Lindos is a very pretty resort suitable for couples. Its not expensive as others have said its just the same as if you ate out in the UK every night! We paid average 36-50 euros for a 2course meal with drinks. We had some lovely meals - Olympia (by St Pauls Bay) is very modern well presented food with a fabulous steak thats well worth 18euros. Acropolis which as it says has the best view of the acropolis on different roof terraces. Caesars and Ekleton did a great lunch and Yannis Bar, Melia, Mythos & cyprus taverna are great places to have a glass or 2 of retsina. If you want somewhere more lively, Antika cocktail bar - great music and a lovely roof terrace. We had 1 bad meal at Byzantinos/la terrace - its got the best view and the nicest decor but 20 mins to take our drinks order and another 20 for them to arrive with our starter, i had the wrong starter brought to me (are you sure you didnt order that? - yes pretty sure!) then i had the most unseasoned flavourless moussaka. The waiters had a row to which one continued this by reaching over the balcony at the other, and during this all around we heard complaints from others and glasses being smashed constantly - one definitely to avoid!!!! Between 11 and 3, Lindos village is chaos. you can get the donkey around the village for 5euros and you get a photo at the end! There are lots of souvenir shops, mini supermarkets and creperies. There are 3 lovely beaches but St Pauls Bay is by far the best - only 8euros for 2 sunbeds, parasol and table - the sunbeds are so comfy they are well worth the money! The water is crystal clear with little fish - ideal for snorkelling and from around 2pm the weddings start at the chapel so lovely to watch. they have a beach bar but we took our own drinks and snacks. It is down a steep hill so be prepared! There are a couple of taxi ranks on the way to the village and also a bus stop at the top of the hill at Krana square which takes you all over the island. Overall a lovely place i'll definitely be going back!!!!

The hotel although named the Lindos Bay I need to be clear and say that it was not on the main Lindos bay but on Vlicha beach just a 5 min cab ride form Lindos (cost approx 7-10 euros)...do not attempt to walk as due to the long windy hill and scorching heat it would take an hour or more (no joke!) and you would pass out from the heat.Lindos bay bar closes at 2300 on the button, night life very low key.

Quite nice resort. The sea was really nice, clear and blue. There were plenty of good restaurants and some decent shops. There are some good places to visit nearby.

Love Lindos a good generall resort suitable for all age groups except for ederly or people with walking difficulties.

Been to Lindos a few times, can't really fault it. Nice beach and there are some lovely tavernas. Interesting places nearby too, worth getting out of town.

Lindos is really nice. There are some good bars and restaurants there, and the beach is really nice. We would definately like to return.

still charming but seems to be changing.i hope it is not down the slippery slope to british yob culture.more disco bars popping up,more stag/hen/wedding parties roaming the streets.people now seem to be able to drink in street till all hours where before doors closed ay 12 and everyone kept inside.still an utterly unique experience and somewhere i would always recommend you must see,especially if you love greece.charming cobbled streets wind everywhere ,rooftop restuarants too numerous to mention and still plenty of quaint bars and cafes strewn up and down the streets.taxis a plenty,prices quite expensive but you pay for the atmos.thomas cook reps,the less said the better,didnt get one on either transfer and rep in apartments seemed a little out his depth.asked and paid for extra leg room seats on return flight week in advance,was told on morning of flight not available.however when booking in asked again and was told were available,so what attempt the rep made who knows! plus thomas cook charged 40e each and airport only 35e so cheers mate,saved me 10e. it makes you wonder what we pay thomas cook for,dont seem to do much repping anymore.

Lindos is very hot. great beaches very clean. Nightlife is quiet and suitable for children. Probably not suitable for the elderly due to the steep climb back to the hotel.

The bars and retruants in Lindos are very friendly and suitable for families.....drinks were very pricey though

The resort itself is very quiet with Lindos approx 10 mins in a taxi for 9 Euros you can pick and choose whether you want lively or not. This was by far the best package holiday I have ever had! Thoroughly recommended for a romantic time!

Glystra consists of a nice beach with sunbeds and umbrellas and a small cafe which serves burgers and gyros.
