We stayed in June, & where looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately our studio faced the children's pool & was on the ground floor even though we had requested a high floor, so was very noisy & not very private. Having said that the studios themselves are large & well equipped. The shower was like a power shower, & it was enclosed I have never had this in any accommodation in Greece & I've stayed all over Greece! If your going don't request block E unless you've got children. The studios beach was down approx 65 steps, & I have slight walking difficulties & found it quite easy apart from the heat. The staff were all friendly & polite. The food at the pool bar was great & cheaper then in Pefkos itself. Unfortunately the air con & safe are not included in the cost of the holiday & works out quite expensive, but a must because of the heat.
The resort of Pefkos isn't very Greek, they tend to cater for those who like English food, so if your the type that likes their full English brekkie you won't be disappointed. The beach is fairly clean, unfortunately cigarette butts in the sand are a probl...

We arrived late on a Saturday night to a welcoming reception area and a beautiful two bed apt. In the morning we joined out fellow tourists for our “WOW” (welcome meeting) where we received some great information from our Rep regarding Pefkos and the Island. As I travel with two young daughters I was happily surprised to find there was a children’s club. The club was for all children from our hotel and our neighbouring hotel and was a cute little room with bright colours, friendly staff and aircon which was great as it was VERY hot!! The children joined in load of activities including pool games like water polo and lilo racing. Lisa the entertainer was great with the children as were the rest of the team. In the evening the children were invited to join a mini disco and after this there were nightly shows. I really enjoyed all the shows, Disco, 50’s girl group and a fun night called Cowgirls. The only downside was the shows were constantly ruined by the lack of respect from the bar which had football going morning noon and night!! I think the football should be located in one bar or reception not always on interrupting singing and dancing shows. The girls in the show were great and the lead singer Hellen had a wonderful voice. On other nights there where Karaoke and games and again with two young girls they loved the Karaoke. The rest of Pefkos was lovely, the beach is beautiful, long and sandy although it does get busy. Most restaurants were good some a little expensive. I took the kids to the water park…not
Very good, A happy go lucky resort without too much price rise!

the flight with an 18month old was a night mare althoug she was poorly- and it took 1 hr 30mins to get to the hotel from the air port ...
we thought the hotel resort was lovely the staff were brill , the room was pretty basic, room only have a shower in - if you have elderly in your family or disabled then there are steps to all the apartment blocks that i could see ....also if you are on the ground floor by the steps like we were it is so noisey -
we stayed mostly by the hotel and the beach the children loved this
take mossy repellent - i think we were the first to stay in the room and the ceiling was covered in then - from the shop we brought this plug in repellent and a spray and we didn't get bitten once...
the shop at the hotel was expensivly priced, but so were all the other shops in the local town .....
the first choice rep was very good and help full - although the excersations were so expensive -
we went on the discover rhodes ( dont take kids ) you are stuck on the coach most of the day and you stop at 3 places you had to pay extra to get in one was 3 euros one was 4 euros per person and 10 euros per person for a lunch - we were not told this when we booked up ! also the trips we not very good for the elderly or disabled ...
we also did the water park - we would highly recommend this as it was the best day we had - it was fab and the kids loved it - only downer is it was over priced
there a fairly step hill you have to walk up to get the coach for the trips and to go into town ... there is a beach - but has steep steps to it , hard going in the heat struggling with a buggie - and sun beds were 4 euros each ..
the hotel entainment wasnt that good at all - tbh i thought it was pretty poor and so glad we were in b black and away from it !
we ate at a few places in town - dont use their vinegar bottles - most have dead flies in - yuck !!!
the hotel do a selection of bar food though out the day untill 430 and this is reasonably priced and very good.
this is a fairly quiet resort, things to do through first choice are very expensive - you can get boat trips cheaper locally although we didnt do this - we spoke to other people that did and said it was very good and highly recommended it -

Have just returned from a week at the Lindia Thalassa. I think because it was the beginning of the season - everything at the apartments was brand new, but having read all the previous reports, they obviously keep up their standards. The apartments were serviced every day, the grounds were immaculate, and the staff - bar and food service were excellent.
The supermarket was well stocked and from what I could see, the same prices as anywhere else, and who wants to carry a load of shopping on holiday just to save a few euros !!!
I had e mailed for a room with sea view in block A, we actually got a room in block B, but with a partial view, but it was good enough.
The walk into the resort was about 10 minutes, and if you cut through the back and not go up to the main road, it has all been tidied up, which makes it a bit easier.
I only had two minor complaints, which really had nothing to do with the apartments and they were - I found it more expensive to eat out compared to past years, but the euro is so bad at the moment, and because it was so early in the season - the resort was too quiet
The First Choice trips were really expensive compared to the local agents - First Choice 44 euros for Rhodes by day, local agent - 16 euros !!! I kid you not.
We ate somewhere different every night, the best place being the Greek House, which was on the side road running down to the beach. Their chef's salad and lamb klefitiko were to die for !!! The cheaper restaurants which offered 3 course for 7.90/8.90 euros were OK, but you get what you pay for.
We went into Lindos by Taxi (6 euros) and walked to the top of the Acropolis, definitely worth it, and took the Rhodes by day trip - which was fine, but we could have done with a bit of a guided tour I think round the old town.
I would definitely go back to Rhodes, but not Pefkos - only because I feel it is a man made resort, without any real Greek character.
The Apartments - I could not rate them highly enough.
Because it was early in the seaon, Pefkos was so quiet, at times we were the only people in a restaurant. It might have been better a bit later on in the month.
I would definitely go back to Rhodes, but not Pekfos as I felt it had no Greek character....

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday here and i have to say it was the most brilliant place! My mum had been the previous year and it just proves how good this resort is by going back year after year.
The bar staff make it especially Lolos, Kostas and Stavros wouldnt be the same without them. Food round the bar is very good and well priced. The pool area is clean and big plenty of some beds although towards the end of the holiday you did get a few people putting the towels on the bed but to be honest you get that where ever you go. There is a games room also 1,5o for the pool table!
The rooms are lovely and clean maid service is everyday with towels changed daily. We were in Block A with a sea view which i would recommed e mailing the hotel before you go to get that block. Kitchen is just what you need, basic.
Went to the beach every other day 4 euros each for the beds. Sea is lovely and warm like a bath and really calm. Good to watch the fish swim around your feet.
The resort of Pefkos is very nice restaurants which i would recommed are - Enigma, Georges lovely home made food just like a la carte. Great bar at the end of the road for the young adult, called eclipse music is turned off at 1am tho but just like coyote ugly bar dancing on the bar with fire around your feet!
Finally our rep michelle could not fault her she was amazing always there even if she was pushed in the pool! any questions she could answer.
Dont think there is anything else i can say apart from this was the best holiday i have been on and i will be returning in Oct 07 and again in Jun 08.
