Just returned from a week on Samos.
Booked the lot ourselves on line.

We stayed in Kambos at the Aphrodite hotel. Which we found to be clean and adequate so long as you didin't want to cook sunday roast (who'd want to do that on holiday) the only thing we missed to our shock horror was a cork screw which our host very quickly sorted, I think she was mored shocked than we were.

We had a great time exploring the island.
Visiting Psili Amos beach, Potami beach and waterfalls, Koukari,Pappa's beach just outside Ireon, Pythogoria and Marathkampos up in the mountains. Each meal we had was excellent, but the best of them all was on our last night in Chrisopetro's taverna. You can't miss it's the first taverna you will see as you arrive at Kampos. We were lucky to see the amber moon rising out of the sea.Bekri Meze is a must I've never tasted anything so delightful. The waiter, a fire fighter with an unusual traditional greek name, was a mine of information.

A night and a holiday we will remember for years to come.
