We found these studios to be clean, well maintained and the owners welcoming and helpful. We had fresh towels/sheets every day and the cleaner also came in every day. There were plenty of sunloungers round the pool and we never had to suffer from 'sun bed baggers' ! The air conditioning is 5 euro per day but we get round this by taking a small fan of our own. One piece of advice is if you value your privacy and a bit of 'quite time' late in the afternoon/early evening do not ask for a ground floor apartment (as I did). Our doors opened literally straight out onto the pool and baby pool and we had catterwauling from the kids from 9am until 7.30pm every day of our second week and no privacy in our studio whatsoever. This is no reflection on the accommodation though and it was extremely quiet and relaxing at first. By the time I asked to be moved the place was full but the owners were helpful. We had hoped to avoid the kids by going before the schools broke up but people will always take their kids out of school regardless Im afraid. All said and done we would use this accomodation again without question.

Excellent Hoilday - we booked last year having never heard of the resort of Perivolos which is on the south coast of Santorini We found it to be extremely quiet and relaxing - the kind of days I wish for on holiday. A good range of bar snacks were on offer in the daytime and the family who own the studios we most friendly and welcoming ( the bar times were close at 10pm but the owner stayed open to suit his customers). In the evening there were a couple of nice restaurants on the doorstep, but the further you walked towards the next resort of Perissa the more varied and reasonably priced they became (a special mention for 'The Best'.) The restaurants in Perivolos were mostly quite and there were no bars apart from a couple of 'trendy' bars.

The walk into the next resort of Perissa takes about 20/30 mins, but we had to wait until about 7.30 or it was far too hot to walk. We found this much livelier, but personally would perfer Perivolos as it was very laid back and relaxing and found it wonderful for the children.

The Eleftheria studios were probably the nicest studios we have stayed in in Greece. They were very clean and tidy, and had a pool which was also lovely and clean. .

This resort is totally unspoilt by the hustle and bustle you get in a lot of resorts and is probably better for families and couples like us looking to relax after the hard slog of work back home (we can have a wild night out in Manchester/Warrington any time). Well worth a visit before it expands and becomes just another holiday resort. We enjoyed it that much we have booked for July 2006 - cant wait.

The resort of Perivolos on the south coast of Santorini was extremely quiet and relaxing. This was fine during the daytime, but if you like to go for a few beers and a nice meal in the evening, you may find that this is not the place for you. The restaurants in Perivolos were mostly empty and there were no bars (apart from a couple of 'trendy' bars jam-packed with Greeks - no English tourists were in them).

After a couple of nights we decided to walk into the next resort of Perissa. This took about 20 mins, but we had to wait until about 7.30 or it was far too hot to walk. We found this much better, with a few bars and a better selection of restaurants with more people in them. One bar, directly next door to the 'Kalimera' restaurant, was brilliant on the nights when live music was played. It was very laid back and relaxing.

We did think that after 2 weeks of walking to Perissa and back it would have been nicer to have stayed there instead of in Perivolos, especially since there were no taxis to ferry us home after a few drinks!

The Eleftheria studios were probably the nicest studios we have stayed in in Greece. They were very clean and tidy, and had a pool which was also lovely and clean. The only complaint about the studios would be the fact that our room was at the very front of the studios, on the opposite side to the pool, and we were therefore surrounded by building sites. Because of the heat, the builders began their work very early in the mornings, and finished quite late on an evening, so this was a bit disturbing. However, other guests we talked to who were staying in the maisonettes at the back of the complex were not disturbed by this at all.

This resort is probably better for families rather than couples, with Perissa being more suited to those who prefer to have a meal and a few drinks in the evening.
