Resort rather quiet, a few bars, Frog and Tiffany the best. Food very good in most places the best being Syrtaki on the main road. Great for travelling into Skiathos Town for the evening. Bus service great runs until 01.00 from Town 20 mins travelling.

Lovely resort for relaxing on the beach. Not a lively nightlife but good atmosphere in the tavernas and bars. Good amount of bus stops for the great bus service to the town.

Skiathos is great. Go there, enjoy the beaches—from the exclusive, to the party, to the deserted—but don’t stay at Paschalis studios.

Skiathos is a great island. Lovely beaches and Skiathos Town is really nice. Good to go up the end of the runway on the beach, planes take your head off! We would gladly go back.

Skiathos Town is the place to go if you want a busy night.. but if your happy with a few bars and resturant and don,t mind a stroll Kolios and Agia Paraskevi are great

Beautiful, quiet. Not for the party type. Beautiful uncrowded beach even in the peak of high season. Lots of nice tavernas - very accomodating with small children. Walkable to other lovely beaches. Great bus service in to Skiathos town - every 5 mins and only a 15 min journey. Shops seemed very expensive - cheaper to eat out than cook in our apartment! Very friendly place. Nice families holidaying there too! No theme parks - just what we wanted.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

we loved it - will go back definately. lots of tavernas - good bus routes to either side of the island. Beach in walking distance and supermarkets close as well.

Agia Paraskevi is located at bus stop 16, right in the middle of the bus route. It is quite a small resort but the restaurants are all amazing, try Meso Strato in particular! The beaches all along the bus route are lovely, but try to walk from bus stop 24 on the pedestrian only route through the wooded area to Mandraki Elias beach. This is gorgeous and perfect for those who aren't so confident in the water or children as it is shallow for quite a way out, unlike most of the beaches in Skiathos. Also take a trip to Lalaria and swim through the cave 3 times to ensure you return to Skiathos, very important!!

A lovely well kept resort. Beaches excellent. A regular bus service, but does get very crowded at times.

Plenty of tavernas along the main road providing both excellent food and service.

Skiathos was a nice town, plenty of nice restaurants in the many side streets. Everytime we had a nice meal. Be sure to have a meal across the street. Next to the beach at Lerio, nice fresh sardines.

We also went water skiing most days at Stefanos' Ski School on Vasilias beach (below Kasandra Bay Hotel), He's a trained water ski instructor with many years of experience. We had never tried water skiing before, however both myself and my husband were skiing on our first lesson! We're now hooked! Stefanos is a great teacher, he's very relaxed and calm and not arrogant like some ski instructors, he really wants to help you to learn. We also hired a boat for the day and visited lots of the beautiful little islands, the beaches were out of this world and a lovely and quiet!

All in all, Villa Jasmin is a winner! I can whole heartedly recommend it to families, couples, groups, anyone. Quality is quality, and we can all appreciate that!

Small and friendly with a scattering of different restaurants and two to three bars. We like the bar at Muses, best prices by far for drinks and pretty overlooking the pool. Suitable for a quiet beach holiday. There is a wildlife reserve you can walk around and a small harbour. Lots of beaches to chose from Koukinaries beach, Mandraki, Big Banana to name a few. Sea clear and aqua blue. Very green island and lots of pretty pine trees. Very layed back and relaxing. Loved it.

Very quiet resort, our perfect escape for some time now with desserted coves and great tavernas; this year ranked TOP would be Pegasus, Jimmys(main road) and Mesostrato. We hunt out the little coves and dont use the resort beach but this was a waste of time during the August peak. Everyday was spoilt by sometimes Huge yachts, often several, anchoring up and their surprisingly unsophisticated occupants making more noise than an 18-30 daytrip. Tips in a nutshell; Avoid August if you like it quiet, but perfect any other time Drink at Dimitris bar Dont shop at the main Aghia Paraskevi supermarket Beware the stealth commission when you change money at the only place in resort!

Lovely resort with excellent/safe beaches. A reasonable selection of bars and tavernas with friendly staff, although the menus do tend to be repetitive. I can reccommend the Green Meadow for good tasty food at a very reasonable 10 euro per person incl wine. There is a good regular bus service available to other resorts although they are sometimes very full and dont stop.
