Overall Resort Rating:
An really nice area, with all kinds of restaurants nearby. The beach is nice, but windy days the water gets a bit "blurry"/sandy (especially if you stay at the end closest to Skiathos town). There are lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to rent (usually 8 Euros for two beds and one umbrella) and the people that you pay are really nice and serviceminded. At least that is my opinion and how I feel about it.

megali ammos close to the town nice atmospaire, no beach parties thanks god clean sea, quite at night and swell beach bar, the best on the beach

Overall Resort Rating:
Walk into Skiathos town is a must, get yourself lost in the winding streets, also boat trips to Skopolos are a must too, however mind the hoards of flocking tourists looking for Mama Mia film stars...! The monastary at the top of the island is great too.

this holiday was up amongst the best we,ve had the only thing wrong with it was we were only there for one week.a word of warning though,we usually take euro travellers cheques but it was very difficult to get change due to the exchange rate at the moment the only place was the bank and they close at two pm and charge ridiculous commission 15 euros to change 500 euro travellers cheques!!!!!!!!
