Hotel Dionyssos Reviews

This is a lovely hotel, up a steep hill from the harbour. We paid extra for an "executive" room; this gave us bits of carpet, air-con, bath robes, and a view over the pool and the sea. Probably wouldn't bother again, altho' it was handy to be able to sit on the balcony and keep an eye on my son in the pool. The staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. We had the Saturday night barbeque, which was disappointing for the money. we also ate at the hotel pool bar one lunhtime; good, but pricey. Breakfast was lovely, with the usual (but rather more extensive that usual) Greek buffet of bread, rolls, cheese, ham, eggs, yogurt, honey, fruit, cake - but also hot breakfast (bacon and eggs, for example). The pool is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds, chairs and tables, although sometimes a shortage of brollies. There's also a pleasant terrace, and a spacious indoor lounge with quite comfy chairs. Would I go again? Probably, at the same time of year (we went last week in May), which was very quiet and peaceful.
