"Hepih Studios review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Since there is only one other review of Hepih Studios on here, I wanted to add ours.
Hepih Sts are based halfway along the long beach that goes from Skala Potamia resort at one end and Golden Beach at the other. Hence, it is quite quiet, which is exactly what we wanted (road noise is not a problem, despite being right on the road). The Studios are very well run, kept very clean, and the minimarket downstairs is brilliant, especially if you are planning to at least make a few salads/hot meals and not eat out for every meal. The Hepihs themselves are also very friendly.
It is also about a 3 minute walk to the beach, so lack of a pool is not a problem. It's a really good stretch of beach, because it has a lot less people than at the ends, but still has plenty of sun loungers available. We were able to get out for the loungers at 1pm and still find one. We had our new baby with us and although the message never made it through from the travel agent to Golden Sun to Hepih about a cot, they did give us a room with three beds, so Clarissa just had to have her own bed....luxury for a 3 month old.
There were several really good tavernas nearby - much quieter than the ones bunched in the actual Skala Potamia resort - and you're more likely to run into a few Greeks as well. Try Aegeo, Green Sea, Magic Coast and the one just inland about 50m from Magic Coast which is situated under the grape vines.
So if you're after a bit more life, then perhaps Hepih isn't the place for you, as the main part of the resort is 15 minutes walk away.
That's it - just wanted to give the Hepihs a good rap.
Had no problems with Golden Sun, and they certainly looked out for us in terms of seating on the plane and whatnot, given our extra piece of 'hand luggage'!
