Overall Hotel Rating:
Booked again with Golden Sun, finding them excellent value for money as ever. Scala Potamia, lovely resort if you seek a quiet relaxed holiday. Tried most of the Restaurants during a two week holiday. They are all very good, but liked Captains, Korali, the best. Try CJ's on the beach for a friendly English run cafe, with all the Brit favourites on the menu!.
Stayed at the PONTIOS Apartments. Would'nt recommend them. The Management don't make their guests welcome. The access is very difficult and the lighting non-existent. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties, or children in pushchairs.
We hired a Jeep from POROS, competitive price and English couple in their office, gave us lots of helpfull tips. We tried most beaches. Our favourite was Psili Ammos, beautiful golden sand and a real place to just chill out and enjoy!. No great problems with the wasps in September, weather pretty good most days. Would recommend Thassos to all those seeking a quiet relaxed, holiday!.
