We thought Argassi was really nice and there were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. We were a bit disappointed that there wasnt much of a beach. But you could get a free bus that leaves at 10:30am from opposite the castle pub. It returns at 5:00pm. You have to pay 4 euros each for the sunbeds when you get there. Then they give you a ticket for the bus back.

"Dont bother"

Not a lot happening in Argassi, we like quiet, but this was dead. Argassi consists of just one short street and a junction leading into an even shorter street, very narrow or non existant footways meant you had to dodge traffic the whole time.

The Captain's Commodore complex leaves a lot to be desired. We had to ask for a change of room as the first one was filthy and overrun with ants even in the beds. The staff were the most unfriendly bunch we have ever come across, the only decent guy was the...

This is the second time we have been to zante in 4 years, and we felt it had become very expensive and the resort was a lot quiter. food prices differed by 20 euro from the main strip to the out skirts, although we love zante and the people, i think ,it's had it.s { HAY DAY ], but the resort still has a charm about it , so maybe ,a little less cut throat profit and more old charm would help .

Argassi has a busy, bustling main road with plenty of good places to eat. As always the staff were pleasant and accomodating our favourite was the girl in Zeus from Bristol. Night life looked ok with several bars which looked popular. The mini golf's were exceptionally well laid out and well kept. The mini supermarkets were a bit cheaper for daily supplies than the big one in town called best, but it did have a more to offer.

We have just got home from our holiday at Xenos Kamara Beach. The accomodation was one of the best we have ever encountered in Greece. It was clean, spacious, well kept and with plenty of space for a family of four or more. The balconies were large and ours,...
