A wonderful relaxing location. The hotel aims to set a relaxing atmoshpere from the start with subdued lighting and relaxing music in the reception area. The staff were very attentive and escorted us to our room.( no walking around looking for room numbers)checking that everything was to our satisfaction. There is only a small pool side bar with a terrific view of the sea. Not much in the area but it is worth the short walk to the village to visit the local tavernas. The 4 x 4 trip is brilliant and very informative as was the greek evening in the hills. In our opinion the best area in Zante beautiful beaches and no tacky shops and bars. Lovely walks and a real stress buster. Be warned the only negative was our visit to the Beach Taverna next to the hotel at Plaka Beach where we were charged for bread(which is always supplied) and a service charge (which we have never encountered anywhere else) Could be that the season was coming to an end and tourists were few! We also heard them trying to charge for parking which was supposed to be free! Overall a wonderful hotel, mainly middle aged clients when we were there and few children. No teenagers so they may get bored.
Exellent for a relaxing holiday with the best beaches but little nightlife if that is what you are looking for. Wonderful walks and no loud nighlife. You may like to hire a car to explore as there are only 3 buses a day.

The accomadation is very clean and its worth it if you pay the extra for a sea view room - fantastic view! Not ideal for kids as theres not much to do as it is a quiet place and no entertainment only a quiz at night! Food quite good fresh salads and local cuisine ,breakfast plenty of choice and will fill you up for the day. We had agreat time relaxing and enjoying the sun, we did do some walking to the turtle beach about 3 km away with the clearest sea we,ve ever seen! The hotel is a ideal place for a quick escape for pure relaxation soon as we got off the coach we felt relaxed straight away within the friendly atmosphere. We are going again next year and will try out the bay suites .

We arrived in the dark and were the last hotel drop. We seemed to be driving to the middle of nowhere!! Little did we know in the morning thats exactly where we were, nowhere!!!There was a Little shop at the hotel that sold the basics, Mainly water and another shop at the bottom of the road which took about a 10 min walk to get to ,and when we did venture there it was closed. The actual hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were all very friendly. The rooms were the best part of the hotel, they were exactly how they showed it in the brochure and we were very pleased at that as we stayed in our room alot as there was nowhere else to go! no Evening Entertainment!
A couple of nites we got a taxi (if you want to risk your life) to Aragassi Which took about 20mins and cost 14 euro lots of shops and bars we spent most of the time in the Beer Acadamy and the Snack Acadamy Watching the football Staff there are very very friendly and nice. And is the only place where you can get hot food as the hotel food was always very very cold and not much choice, especially for children as there was no choice for them or vegatarians ,very poor.
Watch out for the mosquitos they will eat you alive we had bites all over us we counted 50 and that was just on me!!! make sure you take plenty of mosquito repellent. The private beach was lovely and the waters were crystal clear you can walk or swim out quite far without it getting any deeper it, didnt go past the waist, lots and lots and lots of fish swimming around your feet.
All in all very nice hotel but too far out and dead for us!!
Hotel is clean, situated on the beach.Nice view from balcony to the left, look to the right and you have a half finished hotel(building site.)

If you want a quiet holiday doing nothing this is the place. As it is dead!!!In the middle of nowhere,2 tavernas 2 small supermarkets 20 mins by taxi (risk your life if you dare!) to Argassi which is pretty naff.As there is nowhere else to drink, the drinks are expensive at the hotel. And forget about evening entertainment, there is'nt any.
Watch out for the midges.first place I have been to and been eaten alive!!
Thank God we only booked for a week.
The airport is diabolical.
All in All,would'nt return to Zante. Will stick with Crete and Rhodes in future.

The bay + Suites is a very modern and minimalistic hotel. the design of the interior is very nice, the rooms are well eqiupped. The staff are friendley and polite. Meals are as expected abroad, after one day breakfast becomes a chore, same old selections every morning. the evening meal was much better, not a massive selection but always something on which you fancied. The pool area was spotless although we spent all our time on the beach, which had gently sloping sand into the sea.
The first day was a shock, paying for your sunbeds on your own hotels beach but when you found out it happens on every beach, not so bad. On the second day we set up ship on the next beach Plaka beach, this had great facilities and a couple of tavernas, according to people we spoke to the best beach on the island. We only went on one trip to Smugglers Cove, the reason we probably went to Zante, the water is amazingly blue, watch out for the beach the pebbles are quite sharpe.
All in all a very quiet resort but for a relaxing holiday, you could not fault it. Word of warning this was the first time I've used the Euro and I found things rather expensive, take plenty of money.
