We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Vasilikos this June. Very quiet resort with a small strip of tavernas and shops along the 'main' street, then quiet rural paths frequented by chickens walking freely lead after 5 minutes walk to wonderful sandy beaches. In that sense the resort is not fully 'developed'; something we liked because it made for a 'real' atmosphere but there's no night-life to speak of if that's what you're looking for.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHT.This was a one day turtle-spotting cruise with the wonderful Mario in his glass-bottomed boat. Mario dives for starfish, sea urchins and octopus which the children get a chance to hold. The kids also get the chance to 'drive' the boat which they absolutely loved. Mario is very knowledgeable about the turtles and their environment and we were able to see the creatures close up with the chance to swim with the turtles. The trip is unique and worth every euro!
