Kefalonia, the Island that is still Greece. If you want a relaxing holiday, and want to meet like minded people who have been travelling to Greece for years, and are finding it harder to find a place that is still peaceful and the locals welcome you then come to Kefalonia. If you want Disco's, late nights, and wake up in the gutter then don't bother to come here, there is nothing for you and the locals and other...
Malia is party town, excellent atmosphere!!! Reflex is the best bar on the strip. everyone is really friendly and laidback. My m8 and I had the best time ever, we went in late june and then back again in late july....
Malia is basically a place for young adults who just want to party! The old town is quieter and some nice Taverna's but really not for maturer adults - although we still like to party!!
It is really chavtastic...
There are lots of choices of bars and tavernas in Pefkos, also Pefkos By Night is a night club which is airconditioned. The beach is just a short walk from the town along a road with bars and tavernas all the way...
A very disappointing resort. Nothing was open past 11pm apart from one bar. The trips were expensive and extremely poor in terms of service and quality of the visits. The cost of food and drink was extortionate and...
Mainland Spain has got it all..... History, architecture, weather, beaches, food & wine and fabulous hotels at very reasonable prices.
Whether you crave a beach holiday or something more cultural you won't be disappointed. Fabulous beaches abound from the Costa Brava, Costa Blanca to the Costa Del Sol not to mention the Balearic and Canary islands. If you want history, where better than Cadiz, the oldest...
Having paid several visits to the port area of Skiathos during onward bound trips,I have found Skiathos to be a very lively and interesting port. Move away a short distance from the buzz of the harbour front and find some tiny cobbled back streets leading to an ancient clock tower, some tiny tucked away restaurants and a shady walk up to a bar with a view. There are plenty of places to relax and eat or drink or...
loved it here. was onyl about a 10 min walk to the beach and there was loads of shops on the way down to it, exscursions etc. also where we were there was a centre so we were near supermarket and also bars, chinese...
Borning unless you want to sunbathe on the beach all day beaches were nice food ok larger expensive
Playa del Ingles is a nice town with the loveliest beach in the world. Restaurants that suits all tastes and all wallets...
We were in Playa Del Ingles from 16th - 30th December and the resort was dead! No wonder as the price of 2 drinks (house wine and local Bacardi and coke) cost between 10 and 12 Euros! Thank goodness we were all...
stalis is a fantastic place plenty to do and see, fab water parks, taxis easy to get, people very friendly nothing to much trouble, quads can be a pain but not enough to spoil ur hols plenty of shops so take plenty of...
Stalis is very shabby. Roads dangerous- no footpaths and mad drivers on quad bikes and scooters. Lot of places not open or just being built. There are much nicer places on Crete.
beautiful resort. So pretty and spotlessly clean. Unspoilt and open. Paradise. You either love or hate it. if you want a quite holiday, relaxing and chilling then caleta de fuste is for you. if you want lively and...
just returned aug 2010 peak season not everything is open end was amazed how expensive it was for food and drink in resurants glad we went all inc
The spa complex distinguishes itself from others in the Lara tourist district with its 54,000 m¿ of fascinating landscaped gardens (the largest in Lara) and its wonderful architectural style. Renovated in 2009, this...
We went all inclusive so didnt eat out but prices were similar to UK. Note: dont buy food and drink at the airport it cost 18.50 for 2 cans and 2 rolls
C'an Picafort was a lovely fanily resort though apart from the beach there isnt huge amount to dothere, but the beaches are lovely and everyone is very friendly.
Did not like it & therefore did not spend much time there to give a valid review. Resort to far from accommodation
Clean, safe and friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach. Great resort for all ages.
don't rate santa ponsa i'm afraid and only went cos it was really cheap. well shouldn't have gone, should have paid more for somewhere better or maybe just not gone at all. the town is a dive, if you are irish or...
Es cana is a lovely town if you want party its there if you dont theres plenty of places to just chill.
Es Cana is rather run down and tacky with a bad beach. Also, if you are taking a pushchair this town will provide a bit of a challenge with the various height kerbs and sporadic availability of pavements. However...
A small resort perfect if you just want to wander to a restaurant or the beach. Older kids can have some freedom without the worry of drunken holiday makers being an issue.
Sa Coma was a real disappointment. It has two 'main' streets in addition to the main promenade. The selection of bars, restaurants and shops is deplorably bad! I do not exaggerate. Had it not been for the Royal Oak,...
great place for all ages, have been every year for the last 15,i have two teenage daughters who have loved the place since the ages of 2 and 3. plenty of bars and good places to eat at good prices, would recommend los...
Very lively lots of things to do especially round town never got bored of the walk round of a night veronicas is worth a look and las americas is very close too
Sorrento is a good place to see every thing, public transport is in the town and the trains are cheap which are next to the buses.Boats sail from the harbour to Naples,Capri,Ischia and places down the Amalfi coast all worth seeing. Mount Vesuvius you can see from any view point. Trips to Rome are available plenty of places to eat and drink, lots of lovely narrow streets easy to walk around and feel safe. One word...
good but not v busy, georges bar and bed club r the best pl;aces to go 2. and bondi. drinks r quite expensive to unless u do the free bars
Not, too bad...The town is actually nice, but not many things to see but night life, which is not bad
Loved this city! So much to see and do and the food is fantastic. Tapas makes eating out much less pricey.
If you are thinking of going to Barcelona....................DON'T! The thieves and pickpockets are so prolific you have to be on your guard the whole time. So if you want a relaxing break you won't get one here. ...
Been 3 times to cala dor and intend to return. Love the coves, loads of places to eat, clean resort. Ideal for families but not for people wishing nightlife
as stated above, no nightlife as such after 12am, quite a few shops but all selling same souveniers. If u r young and fancy a late night i recommend the "hacienda" 2 mins from the apartments cala d'or sol, its...
I love Rome! so possibly slightly biased but woudl say there is something to do for everyone here, andeven the sea is a sort train ride away at Ostia. Most places cetnrally are within walking distance which means...
Rome is just romantic and the sights to see here are end less. There was so much to see here in Rome for me and my partner. The romantic restaurants were just lovely just about had one every where in Rome.The...
