An Introduction To Cuba
Cuba, well, where should I start - the weather is absolutely glorious and the beaches are like you'd imagine in a tropical dream with the finest whitest sand and the most turquoise seas I've ever seen. The landscape in Guadalavaca where we stayed is quite dry, but there are still plenty of green palmtrees to be seen swaying in the cool breeze. There are plenty of activities to be found for very cheap prices, a real winner is the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins, a not-to-miss activity. During August there are Carnivals throughout Cuba and the one we visited in Holguin was a real eye-opener, a brilliant chance to see more of the culture. Cuba really is a place of relaxation, but with plenty of additional interesting things to see and do, a place to be highly recommended, but pick the resort carefully!
