An Introduction To Majorca

The largest of the Baleric islands Majorca is a beautiful island with something for everyone. The great beaches of Alcudia and Can Picafort offer a treat for those who worship the Sun God, markets at Inca and Valldermosa are delights for the shoppers and the Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo are a treat for sight seers.

Sensibly priced with a meal for two costing approx 15 to 20 euros and a glass of sangria about 2.5 euros, Majorca is a great holiday for families of all ages with something to appeal to parents of toddlers (short flight time), teenagers (waterparks & discos)and grandparents alike.

Hiring a car is a must as Majorca has much to offer and is very easy to drive around with good roads and great signage making it very difficult to get lost. This also gives you access to some fabulous beaches which are a little off the beaten track - great for the adventurer's out there.

With great weather and something for everyone Majorca is a friendly and accessible island and definately well worth a visit.
