"Absolutely Fantastic"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was our first time to Goa and we were not too sure what to expect. All we can say is we were very pleasantly suprised. The hotel itself is situated at the bottom of quite a steep hill, but flat around the hotel. We walked up and down most days however taxis and tuk tuks are widely available. There is a beach a short walk from the hotel however we only ventured down there a few times. The pool area is very nice and Dominic is always around to provide you with towels etc for the sun loungers. The pool bar staff are fantastic, Cyril is always very friendly and good fun. In fact all of the staff are really friendly and we cannot fault them in anyway. During our second week the hotel owner approached us with a lovely gesture to upgrade us to an executive suite for free which we accepted and we were delighted. The room we had previous to this was fantastic also, great size and had everything you could need. Fresh towels etc everyday and very clean. There is also a casino at the hotel which is usually quite busy but does not cause any hassle. The breakfast at the hotel has all the usuals ie cereal etc however curry is not something which we usually have for breakfast. (however I did expect this would have been the case as you are in India after all) We had two meals in the Pan Asian restaurant at the hotel which were lovely and the staff also lovely. Overall we cannot fault the hotel or staff in anyway and would certainly recommend the hotel.
