Hotel Madison Reviews

What a Brilliant Hotel and Resort.We have been to many different places worldwide and can honestly say we cant find a fault with the Hotel or Resort.

We stayed in the annex which houses the self catering units,this is seperatded frm the actual hotel by the hotels swimming pool,all hotel facilities can be used by self catering guests.
Upon arrival in the air conditioned hotel reception a porter took our cases and ourselves to our self catering room.The reception area is very nice,plenty of very comfortable seats,very friendly staff,very clean.

Self Catering rooms.Our bathroom was very large,with toilet,massive shower cubicle,bidet and sink.All modern,very clean,plenty of little hotel soaps,towels etc. The kitchen was well equiped with toaster,microwave,3 electric ring cooker,large fridge with freezer compartment and plenty of pots and pans etc, far better equipped than we have been used to in the past.There is a small dinning table and a large comfortable setee in this area.The bedroom had twin beds pushed together,very comfortable matress, 4 pillows,crispy clean bedding,plenty of walldrobe space, TV with saterlight channels although only one in English(BBC WORLD).The rooms had 2 seperatly controlled air conditioning units that also worked when you were out of the room,our rooms were very cool when we returned from the beach each day. Large balcony.

Hotel..The hotel staff are very friendly and the place is immaculate.We didnt try any of the facilities apart from the bar where the sizes of the ";shorts"; are a talking point, 2 Brandy and cokes and I could hardly walk! The pool was quite small,with sunbeds around the outside,we were told it was heated but we didnt try it.

Resort.The Beach is about 5 mins walk away,the Hotel has allocated sunbeds which you pay for on the beach by a very friendly man who also gives advice on local tourist attractions. 10 Euros a day for 2 sunbeds and unbrella which are yours for the week.The beach is very clean,the sunbeds are quite close together but you can move them about a bit and at no time were more than 30% of the sunbeds in use.The sea was warm, and you have to wade out quite a way before it starts to get deep.Nice beach cafe,friendly staff.

There are hundreds of restaurants ,nearly all doing seafood.The food is excellent but the service can be a bit slow in some restaurants.There seems to be nothing open at 7pm but the place comes alive after about 8pm and the resort is teaming with thousands of Italian holiday makers well into the night,we were suprised at how many very young children and elderly were out at midnight,the place was buzzing in a pleasant way.Seems a very safe resort.If you like the idea of getting drunk,wearing your union jack shorts and eating in British type of fast food outlets this is NOT the resort for you,so please stay away and keep it decent for the rest of us!

We havent got a single complaint,the resort and hotel apartments are excellent!Highly recommended. Airtours staff also excellent.Even the airport was good,very fast baggage handling,comfortable airport terminal,fast checkin etc. Im trying very hard to find a fault,but I cant.I would suggest learning at least a few words in Italian as quite a few of the shop and restaurant staff only have a limited knowledge of English.. This place is good,very good!Hardly any Pubs or fast food outlets,a lot different from Spanish and Greek resorts,a lot better by far!!

I have just stayed at the hotle madison in Cattolica Italy, and can't find fault with a single thing.

The hotel was clean and rooms were roomy and comfortable. All the hotel staff were friendly and approchable at all times. We liked to have a chat with the freindly staff whist sipping there very own cocktale, the madison.. Very nice you much try... Night life around the resort, was very lively, lots of bars and places to eat, priates bar was a favourt of mine, and our Hotel rep Ben Hughes was fantatic, always on hand if we needed anything. The beach is a must, they have the cleanest beaches I have ever seen, there is a small charge for the sun lounger but well worth it, Hotel Madison's beach is number 5 and once again run by a very freindly man.. Lots of fun things for the children to do on the beach and around the resort..

Good time had by all

Stayed at Hotel Maddison for a week in August. Hotel very clean and tidy and had
a nice friendly atmosphere. Maid service
every day with clean towels etc. Hotel situated more or less opposite beach up a
small side road. We were given rooms on the top floor which had wonderful views from our very large balcony that went right round the side as well. A corridor
leads to a door that takes you to the roof terrace (I don't think everyone knew about this)where we had the whole thing to
ourselves every day. Lovely to sunbath up here as you get a nice cool breeze and there are fantastic views at the same time. Pool was quite small and some of the time was shaded but it was heated and felt like a very warm bath.
The food at the hotel was second to none. Five courses every night and food was of a very high standard as was the waiter service.
We hired a car for the week and drove into Rimini which had a bit more night life for the younger people. My girls liked it here as it was a bit more for their age group.
The beaches were lovely and never too crowded. I am not a beach person but preferred to go to the beach here as it was so nice.
All in all, a lovely holiday and I would thoroughly reccomend the hotel maddison.

This was our first time to Italy and we were not dissapointed.

HOTEL
The Hotel was excellent, nothing like your usual Spain, Greece etc... apartments. Don't expect lots of room and a big balcony. Maid service everyday for fresh towels and stuff. Good bar with lots of choice at good prices. Food ?....Well we was told that Italians really know their food and they certainly do. Fantastic meals served here, some of the best food we've had anywhere. The pool area was kept clean and get this...even a heated swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

BEACH
The beach was very clean but you had to pay for your sunbeds with brollies. Works out at 12 Euros a day for 2 beds, bit expensive if your a beach lover like us though, but hey who cares when your on a beach doing nothing all day.

THE TOWN
A lovely town with shops, loads of resturants and a few bars. Nice for walking around in the evening after eating your 5 course meal ! Searched high and low for a Night Club and the one we found was closed for the season! Nevermind you can't have everything!

SUMMARY
If you love your food, wine and chilling out then i can't recommend this place enough. We went to Venice on a Airtours trip and after cancelled all our other trips. Its just not worth spending 5-10 hours travelling and not being able to see things properly. If you want to see things then just organise it yourself, the train station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel and it took us just 2 and a half hours to get to Florence. Although go to San Marino because thats only a half hour coach trip and the shopping is duty free! We are definetly going back because this is a great place for just getting away from it all !
