We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Hotel Maxim in Cattolica. We found the rooms and hotel were kept spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfasts are continental, but plenty to choose from. We thought the evening meals were excellent and the pasta courses were delicious. If you like Italian hospitality and Italian food, then in our opinion you would enjoy the Hotel Maxim.
There is lots to do, if you like the beach then the Hotel has it's own part of the beach with umbrella's and loungers. San Marino is well worth a visit, it has cheap leather goods and alcohol. You can get to Riccione and Rimini on the bus. Also Cattolica has it's own array of various shops and a weekly market.
