"italy's most fashionable city"

Overall Sub Resort Rating:

We spent the day wandering round taking in all the sites. the transport system we found easy to use and most residents were extreamly helpful when we need directions or advice. We stopped off at the Duomo to eat gelato and watch the world pass us by. it's true what they say about Milan being the fashionistas paradise. We had a great time looking round all the shops before we headed off on our next stop.

Milan is nice to explore. The Duo mo cathedral is a must to see. You can walk on the roof and also visit the football stadium tour.

With the city transit system, the hotel is perfectly located. It is literally steps away from the Duomo, Galleria and many other sites and restaurants. The nice part was that you could walk just a few blocks either way of the Duomo and be out of the touristy area. We loved that!

After a day of touring the city we arrived to find a lovely fresh fruit platter in our room that was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay in Milan was everything it could be and more.

We stayed here for 6 nights in November 2009 and as you would expect from Park Hyatt. The location is excellent with easy access to shopping, restaurants and La Scala. The Concierge was extremely helpful in helping us with tickets to the symphony and when I had problems picking up the tickets at La Scala, they walked back over with me to sort out the situation

When you arrive in Milan, it is very close and convenient from the Milan Central train station. You just arrive, roll your luggage half way down the next block and you are there. This also makes it very convenient to get on the metro and go all over Milan to all major tourist attractions within a few easy metro stops, easily navigated by color line.

imply stunning and in an amazing location. The staff can't do enough for you, great gym facilities, rooms are super clean & modern....... it's one of those hotels where you don't want to leave to explore the city; and it was always a pleasure to return back to the hotel. We didn't use any of the Hyatt dining facilities as I think there was better options outside & nearby hotel

The Grand Prix of Italy is the Ferrari home race. Weather was awful but we saw S. Vettel win in the wet when driving for Toro Rosso. Staying in Milan you can enjoy the fantastic city, see the Duomo and try and get seats at the Parabolica turn for the Gran Prix.

The all day hop on hop off sightseeing bus has a stop directly across the road from the front of the railway station and provides excellent routes and places of interest.Don't be afraid to use the Thai Bahn massage centre next door to the hotel Berna. The massage is excellent and it is not sleazy in the least although the decor is a little old. There are a stand of the city bicycles on the street, which was also a bonus as Milan is an easy city to cycle around. You can also purchase metro tickets directly from the hotels so you don't have to figure out what to buy on the machines. Visit. The architecture is extremely eye popping! The square surrounding the Dumo has many people just relaxing and taking in the views.

The location of Park Hyatt is great: next to the famous Galleria, and just a few steps from the Duomo. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, it was nice to receive some detailed information about Milan. We had prosecco in the lobby, under the beautiful glass dome, and were served by a very friendly waiter. The next morning the breakfast buffet was also set up in the lobby, and some people (including us) apparently found it not very comfortable eating breakfast while sitting on a rather low, easy chair. But the breakfast food was very good, and the cappuccino was excellent (served in a cup of very thin porcelain, which I loved). Except the beautiful lobby, we did not like the public areas much, and the corridors on our floor were very anonymous, everywhere the same beige colour, the numbers on the doors making the only difference. To conclude: in this luxury hotel you will of course be very comfortable, but for us there were also some minor disappointments

location is very convenient to metro ( just about few stops to duomo area ) and tourist sight seeing bus stop and also within a 10mins walk to shopping street corso buenos aires. The street the hotel is located on has a scattering of restaurants, most of which look decent. We had dinner in two of them and it was ok.

Great food, great culture and great shopping - what more can we say! IT is great to stay here at any time of year. There is lots to do including seeing the Last Supper and a game at the San Siro if you are very lucky. We were lucky enough to be there with 80000 others for the All Blacks vs Italy which was amazing.

Again at the stadium food brilliant but toilets not so much!

Milan was lovely. There is lots to do and see - the Duomo is fabulous as is the shopping centre, with plenty of genuine bargains available. Watch out for the pigeon men in the main square who thrust seed in your hand and them demand money though.

The restaurants are all very good, as is the ice cream. The one thing is that the city is quite airless in summer as you would expect, so if we had outr time again I would go earlier say around May

My only problem was finding the hotel in the beginning since not everyone in Milan was familiar with it. However, just look for number 4 building in the Guiseppe Manzini street and you'll find the entry. It look so exclusive, just like one of the cdesigner shops on the street.

The Duomo is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, construction started in the late 14th century and took 500 years to complete. Definitely go up to the roof of the Duomo, you don’t need to walk up there, you can take the lift, which cost 8 Euro, quite expensive. Make sure you also visit the basement of Duomo.
