This small family run yet professional hotel and restaurant is found just across the river from the Bosa old town quarter with its narrow alleyways, steep steps and cobbled streets.

This small family run yet professional hotel and restaurant is found just across the river from the Bosa old town quarter with its narrow alleyways, steep steps and cobbled streets.

Probably the best feature of Sa Pischedda is the restaurant, most of which is located outdoors, under a pergola draped with fragrant wisteria and bouganvillia.

The food includes some great seafood starters and lovely antipasti with local meats and chunks of cheese similair to Gran Padano. One of the best things on the menu are the amazingly good value pizzas, any of which would knock spots of the best pizzeria in the UK, and are priced at just 5 or 6 euros each. Delicious fresh local toppings and light crispy bases.

On a Sunday evening local families come out to eat, all dressed smartly. And nearly all of them appear to be related to the owner!

All round, a beautiful little spot and definately worth recomending...

Overall

Bosa Marina appeared to be a lovely authentic sardinain seaside town. Sadly, we didn't get to see much of the town itself, but the beach area was certainly clean and un crowded, though it was april! Not the most vibrant of towns bearing in mind the time of...
