Hotel San Biagio Reviews

An appalling hotel located on the very edge of the town, and a long dangerous walk in as well.
The front of the hotel looks out on to a very large and busy Fiat Service garage, whilst one of the sides faces a busy main road. As a result many of the bedrooms have a really poor restricted view.
There are steep stairs up to the foyer and the swimming pool lies inside the hotel underneath several of the bedrooms.
Smoking is permitted nearly everwhere and as all the staff smoke when on duty the place stank of stale tobacco and cigerette smoke.

Our room was next to the bar, it was dirty and unkept, the floor was covered in hair and the wardrobes/storage space minimal. Noise from the bar was very intrusive and the prices very high, we choose not to eat from the limited menu with set meal times and instead found a returant nearby that was very good, but pricey.

The hotel do not accept credit cards and want all drinks paid for in cash as they are taken. We found the owners family to be unhelpful and rude, and they certainly did little to make the guests stay a pleasurable experience.
We made several complaints to the Page and Moy representative but noting much was done other than moving our son from a room, next to the bar and that stank of smoke, to what would be classed in the UK as a broom cupboard.
After one night we'd had enough and journeyed to Rome to catch an early flight home.
Complaints to Page and Moy have produced no satisfactory response todate.
