As we went in the last two weeks of September the weather was not as good as it could have been with quite a cool breeze and lots of cloudy skys. The other thing was that the whole resort starts to pack up in the last week of September so it sometimes felt like they could'nt wait to be off to their winter jobs and were merely going thro'the motions. As a resort the weather is paramount and this is definately a resort for lots of sun. When weather is poor resort seems drab & lifeless. There are plenty of shops and bars to visit but again at this time of year many were closing up for the seasons end.Overall a place to visit once and it was only Venice & the other places we visited that made this a good holiday.

After hearing good reports about this hotel we are delighted to say it did live up to expectations and we had two wonderfully relaxing weeks in Italy.Food is traditional fare with no offers of bangers and mash or fish & chips but it was a pleasure to try th...

After hearing good reports about this hotel we are delighted to say it did live up to expectations and we had two wonderfully relaxing weeks in Italy.Food is traditional fare with no offers of bangers and mash or fish & chips but it was a pleasure to try the different types of food available.Staff were always helpful and the rep always ready to help without being pushy.Highlights of this holiday were trips to Venice,Verona Lake Garda & Treviso

"Florence - wow!"

The first impression of our suite was 'Wow!' As we were late arrivals, they'd laid on a cold meal in our lounge which was wonderful (went well with the champagne I'd pre-ordered). Superby hotel.

This is my 2nd time to this area. I really really like there, it is v european not many brits there walking about covered in tatoos, and only the odd bar with football in. All the resaurants serve excellant food and the pizzas are amazing start at 4 euros and believe me one of them is more than enough for a good meal. There is easy cheap local transport to get to venice this place is magical and mustn't not be missed. There is also a water park near by aqualand so good we went a few times over our holiday. I would fully recomend Lido di Jesolo any young family will enjoy.

With me now being a single Dad i needed to budget on a Holiday abroard. It was important to me to book a hotel that had a swimming pool. The Hotel bressa is a 3 star and have to be honest, not sure what to expect as it was the cheapest 3 star i could find that had a pool attached. But on arrival i realised i had no worries this was an excellant hotel. The Hotel back onto the beach with its own private section. The rooms was cleaned everyday and was a reasonable size. The staff was all very freindly although there english was quite poor. I booked B and B as myself and the kids prefered to eat out so i do not know wot there evening meals was like. Overall for the cost approx £600 for 9 days id give it 9/10

Nice place but there's not much going on, day or night. The weather wasn't too good our second week, the shops are closed in the afternoons, and we often ended up reading on our balcony. Handy for visiting Venice, and the boat doesn't cost too much. Also visited Verona and Lake Garda which were lovely. Can get local bus to Treviso which is a gorgeous place.

Room nicely furnished and cleaned every day, but it was very small. We had to walk sideways between the bottom of the beds and the huge wardrobe. Lovely powerful shower in bathroom. Lots of choice if you want a continental breakfast, but don't expect a 'full English'. Food at night good but quite repetitive, lots of vegetables, 9 one particular night, but usually cooked almost to mush. Good choice of desserts, fresh fruit and ice creams. The hotel could do with some entertainment at nights. We went late in the season, there wasn't anything going on in the resort, and not everyone wants to just sit and drink. Staff very friendly, and it's very handy for the beach.

My sister and I have just returned from 1 weeks holiday in the Principe Palace Hotel & I felt that I had to write a review about the hotel. The staff were all very helpfull and pleasant from the receptionist, bar staff, restaurant staff to the maids. We are both vegetarian and the restaurant manager Paulo said if there was nothing on the menu that we liked that pasta would be made for us we did not have to order anything different as the meals were wonderfull. There is a very large salad buffet, soup and desert buffet. One evening during the week there was a Gala buffet which was absolutely wonderfull everyone loved the food. After this there was live music in the bar and Gigi one of the barmen a great asset to the hotel got most people up to dance. A lovely evening. The hotel itself is wheelchair friendly and is family run I booked independantly with Max one of the brothers and was very pleased with the price as it saved me about £350 I also booked a taxi transfer return from the airport through the hotel and it was well worth it, very pleasant driver. The hotel is on the piazza manzzini square & can get noisy at night but if you close your patio doors it blocks out the noise, the air conditioning is very good if you need it and in our room situated by the light switch by the bed. Unfortunately the weather was not so good but it did not spoil the holiday as the hotel & staff are so good. I would recomend this hotel to anyone, we travel at least twice per year & when we find a good hotel we always return & we will. The area is very flat so it is good for whelchairs & buggies the beach is lovely if you get the weather, the shops are very near & glass jewelry not too expensive you are very near to Venice ( not too good for wheelchairs ) but to sit in Florians & watch the world go by listening to a 5 piece orchestra wonderfull. All in all a very good holiday & experiance.

If you want to see Italy then do not go to this resort - its the Blackpool of Italy and extremely tacky - full of slot machine shops. The beaches are gorgeous but thats where is ends. Its a long strip of shops, bars and restaurants similar to a stip that you would find anywhere i.e. Magaluf, Playa de las Americas - nothing Italian whatsoever. Went to the waterpark - cost 68 euro for 2 adults and 2 children - over priced, had to climb a waterslide and look at the view - seen olive trees and Italian style houses to realise that we actually were in Italy. Venice is beautiful and would recommend a trip there.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! This hotel is in need of an extreme makeover, my children got washable marker on the sheets on the 1st day and the same sheets were on the bed at the end of our stay. 1 good thing was the good, very nice but not Italian, very little pasta dishes, loads of fish and joints of meat but not what I want to eat in Italy. The owner of the hotel is always prowling about and watching how much food you take. The worst thing about this hotel was the staff, I have never met a more ignorant bunch!!! Also strange is that you have to pay 2.50 euro a day to lie beside the pool, we were there with 2 children so cost 10 euro a day to sit at the pool in the hotel we have already paid for. This hotel is not child friendly and raised voices from children guarantee dirty looks from the staff.

Totally agreeing with everything covered in the review by Lindsey, we understood that this wouldn't be luxury for like 12 euros a night but additional costs of everything meant Venice was the place that drained our money. The location was poor and cost us 30 euros from the bus station to the campsite and then 4 euros for the shuttle bus to get back into Venice the next day. I lost count of the number of mosquito bites and the fact that the heater/air con smelt like it was going to blow up was a bit scary so we just didnt use it. No offence to the australians but the whole three days felt like it was simply aimed at just australians experiencing freshers week...ie just wanting to get drunk and get laid. Overall terrible experience but luckily the scenes from central Venice made up for it...just!

The hotel is situated well, i.e on the beach one side and on the strip where the bars and restaurants are the other side. (Note that the street is pedestrianised by night which makes it easy to stroll up and down in complete safety - save for the odd tourist tandem !!). There's a bus stop nearby for easy travel to Venice or Aqualandia (the water park). We had a very roomy apartment which was cleaned every day and had a full sea-view from the balcony, i.e we overlooked the pool and beach. We did have breakfast which though not great still gives enough choice to hopefully please everyone. The hotel staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. (They were happy to book the taxi that picked us up and returned us to the airport for a fair price - 70 euro). The beach was clean, well groomed and very long with a promenade that's a pleasure to walk if you get a bit bored just lying in the sun ! There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. This end of town is not as busy as the Via Bafile end but it was busy enough for us. Yes, this area is a very continental part of Jesolo but we prefer it that way as there's no drunken behaviour, no football shirts and a distinct lack of tattoos !! All in all I'd recommend both the hotel and the location where it's situated. We had a lovely time and would return.

After a long day of sightseeing in Venice we were looking forward to checking into our accommodation for a three day stay. We had a shock when we arrived our cabin turned out to be nothing but a shack which consisted of just a single bed a bunkbed (with no ladders to reach the top bunk) a shabby wardrobe and one plug socket (which looked unsafe). It was extremely clostraphobic. We know the accommodation was cheap as it was essentially a hostel but this place was the pits. On the night we arrived they had a rockband on which sounded like they were performing in our cabin (so so so loud), it was like torture listening to their fourth attempt of sweet home alabama on an hr and half set! Not exactly high entertainment!

The laguna which was advertised on the website consisted of two sunbeds on a grass verge, a tiny river and the airport runway on the other side! Its right next to the airport and isnt really in Venice!! There are shuttle buses that take you to the resort but they only run every hour and theres a four hr gap during the afternoon so the buses are packed!

The food at the campsite was ok to a point, but as we were miles from anywhere we had to eat it. The service was rubbish though with the waitors taking ages to come over and take your order which made the whole experience frustrating.

This place seemed to be great in the eyes of 18-22yr old australians who were just interested in getting drunk and wearing Togas.

Would not return if they paid me!
